OTA 1.7.1 Stuck, anyone else have issue updating?

Car has been to dealer service 3 times in the last 6-8 weeks, each time with an explicit requirement that they fix the OTA lockup caused by the 1.7.1 update hang and that they update the software to the latest.
Well, the dealers cannot fix it and they should have told you that at least since February.
Ford is the problem, not the dealer. They can't invent a fix without a procedure from Ford.

Right now, we only have rumors of a fix which isn't confirmed yet. We gotta wait some more.

So, what is the easiest/best way to contact the Ford Early Access folks?
I have been stuck at 1.7.1 since October.
Car has been to dealer service 3 times in the last 6-8 weeks, each time with an explicit requirement that they fix the OTA lockup caused by the 1.7.1 update hang and that they update the software to the latest.
All three times I explicitly asked if this had been done.
All three times they insisted emphatically that it had been fixed and updated by their MachE software specialist.
All three times when I got the car back NOTHING had been done. Still locked up and nothing fixed.
I have obviously lost faith in dealer service competence and honesty.
It looks like my only hope is to go over their heads to Ford which it sounds like others here have also done, and maybe successfully?

Anyway, I would appreciate any info on how to get Ford EA on board to help me out.
On your Early Access account, there is a report issue button at the top right corner. This is a form to fill out to get support from them.

There is also an email address listed there if you want to email them directly.

Technically I’m in the Early Access Program but I never was given early access to anything and don’t have an evaluation form, etc. I don’t remember how I got to be “on” the team it was so long ago but it really doesn’t matter. I did bring up this issue of 1.7.1 right away to the Early Access contact I have though.

On your Early Access account, there is a report issue button at the top right corner. This is a form to fill out to get support from them.

There is also an email address listed there if you want to email them directly.
I’ve hit that button a few times and never got a response. :(

How do I know if I’m “stuck”?

If you go to Settings->General->Sync Version, what does it say? If it says "--", you're stuck.

Check your automatic update settings and see if you are able to toggle it and set a schedule - that seems to be the constant. But the fact that you got some of the functionality is promising. Peasants like me only have the message that we are up to date with no added functionality ?

I've seen some people say that the update eventually went through after an extended period.

Open notes. In the resulting pop up you’ll find tic-tac-toe

Ahh ok, I see 21174_product for software and 168 for revision

you and I have the exact same experience stuck sine beginning of Oct had the car at the dealer 3 times. Each time I asked them to update and 3 times they told me they did. But no update. My update button has been grayed out. I contacted Ford a few times they said they are working on a fix that would be out im Feb now they are hoping for it to be in March. Very frustrating. I had the car 8 month and its been stuck on update for 6 of those months. UGH!!

Hey fellow Stuckers, quick question/thought: I checked the "Sync Info" section of @tonesto7 's widget and saw that I am running "SYNC4 v4.0.21008" last updated 3/19/2021. Per Ford's website, SYNC 4 cannot be upgraded to SYNC4A.

Does anyone's SYNC Info indicate that they are on 4A? Is it possible that the APIM module can't be updated because Ford's system thinks we are SYNC4 vehicles trying to accept SYNC4A updates? Or are we all just dust in the wind?
