It means that next thursday that Ford will be scheduling for build weeks. 5/2 thru 5/23. If you took over an order, you dealer is the best to provide you information.

So does this mean the orders originally scheduled for production will be delayed until May?

I have a build week of 3/21/2022 so does this mean that I will be getting my car scheduled for production in May?

If you have a "build week" of 3/21 then your car will be built that week (this week) plus any production delays (chip shortage, assembly line shut down). My build week was 1/31. The plant shut down 2/7-2/13, and I was built on 2/18.

Scheduling Week means this week they will release the orders to be built those weeks on May. This usually comes out on Thursdays. You are not affected.

A VIN will be available, when the vehicle has been scheduled for production. A “Window Sticker” will be available as well.

I got an email on Saturday (for the first time in months) saying my order status has changed but it just said there were delays.

I don't have a build date yet. Is that email a good sign that I might get a build date on Thursday?

Even if you tell me no I'm still gonna keep my fingers crossed.

LOL NO! Hey seriously I am hoping with you. I got the same email and hope to get a May production date. I have long believed that I would have my car in June. Ordered December 1, 2021

The latest build/order sheet did confirm that job 2 will start in May. In theory, this would mean that those cars may have small improvements and refinements compared to job 1.

Seems Job 2 is getting park assist deleted…at least on Selects with tech pkg.

Just talked with my dealer this morning and for anyone hoping to get scheduled, make sure your dealer accepts the Active Park Prep Kit, otherwise it sounds like the order will be in a holding pattern.

Same for me. I've had my VIN for a month now, but still no production date or window sticker. My oder was through the dealer directly though, so that might be why it's different?

My understanding is that if you have a VIN you have a scheduled production week-- probably sometime in April since they haven't yet scheduled May. Folks who ordered online can confirm this through their Ford account (Reservations). But for those who ordered through the dealer, I'm not sure if/when you automatically find out-- other than contacting your dealer directly to inquire. (I will note I got an email confirmation of my build week about a month after my Ford account updated-- not sure if folks who ordered through a dealer get this email).

Most people seem to report getting a window sticker about a week before production starts. Some folks seem to report getting it much earlier though-- not sure why.
