I’ve done a round trip Missouri to Dallas without the updates. It’s not bad.
I have also made this trip twice in this car, 80% causes me to have to make one more stop coming back. There seems to always be a south wind blowing at 30mph :)

Where do you find the latest installed software?

I don’t think you can.
You can see if there are any updates pending for your car, but not what’s already there.

Anyone who is thinking about taking the FDRS plunge should search this forum for "FDRS" in the Title. There are a lot of posts for how to do it, and what is needed. It is a big investment so it is not something you would want to do for only one update. It is good if you want to keep your car fully up to date, like many forum members do. One day I might take the plunge, but I am happy with what my dealer did and it cost me $0.00.

You could try to get back into your dealer before then so they can give it a 3rd try. What kind of report did they give you from FDRS the last time? Did it look like the one that I posted?
This is what they gave me.

That just shows what they attempted, not what was successful. If you go back, ask them to print the list of software updates that are still available when they’re done.
I had not thought of that. I will ask for that next time. I just sent the Service director an email and he has already responded and they said they would take care of my issue. They service manager is suppose to call me shortly. Thanks for your help

So the service manager called me back and we are to meet Friday morning and they will do the updates on the spot. He said if that doesn't correct my problem they will get Ford involved.

Sounds like this dealership isn't up on the process.

Ford is involved (I think) because you engaged with CS. I believe CS will contact your dealer, if you provided that information to them of course. That is a good thing. The dealer will be more responsive if they know Ford is monitoring the situation.

Ask for the FDRS print out showing available software updates, like @generaltso suggested, when they are done so you can confirm they did update everything.

Good luck! I think this time you will get what you need, and the faster 80% charge.

I only heard back from one guy and he wanted to know if I wanted to change dealers. Since then not a word from CS even though I requested additional help a month ago on our conversation thread on this forum. I hope it gets fixed. Thanks

Did he get your VIN? They usually ask for that. Then they can associate the CS report with your car. At least that is what I think is happening behinds the scenes. If that happens, I think, just my theory, the dealer sees it. You can also tell your dealer that you asked Ford for help. If you can get the case number from them, it might be good to have to share with your dealer.
