Mine shows awaiting shipment. Vehicle status is ASN. What does ASN mean?

I am not 100% certain in the Ford world it means the same thing, but I strongly suspect it is:

An advanced shipment notice (ASN) is an electronic data interchange (EDI) message sent from the shipper to the receiver prior to the departure of the shipment from the shipper’s facility. The message includes complete information about the shipment and its contents. In today’s environment, this message is more often an “as shipped notice” sent after the departure of the shipment.

FYI: My car (group 3565) that has been "built" since March 18th, reportedly shipped then someone realized it was not shipped is still scheduled for 5/2-5/8 delivery. We will see what reality is. As far as I can tell from the last VVR it has moved from the factory to a rail yard in Mexico (Ramp 5J, Lecheria Cuap, EM) and there it sits waiting for a train ride to Kansas.

My Grabber Blue GT was built on 3/19 and is supposed to be delivered on 4/11. Haha. The Ford Site doesn't say anything about being shipped. I tried the Order Track site and it said, awaiting shipment, but the Origin is Kansas City. Does that mean it is in Kansas City? Which would be a huge improvement from Mexico. I talked to ford customer service yesterday and they were very nice but just told me the secondary data shows that my car has been moved. Not sure what that means, but the woman said it still shows an arrival date (Chicago area) of 4/11.

Origin Kansas City means that it is identified as going to Kansas City from Mexico. Note that probably says the word "Pending" on the far right, which means it hasn't even left Mexico yet.

Yep says pending, oh well. Good thing I never sold my Wife's 11-year-old minivan, that I have been driving around for the last 5 months.

Very likely... according to ordertrack.app my car is one of 14 other vehicles that are being tracked in the same status...sadly. It appears that they finally got the chips, but now there are so many cars that are ready, however, they don't have enough rail cars to suddenly ship 3+ months worth of production at the same time.

Tinfoil hat time... that new tracker (thanks to whoever made that, and to those who made us aware of it!) told me "38 other vehicles in the same status" this morning. Now it says 15. I don't know how this site works, but if that number is based on scraping of all order data, then perhaps a bunch just got moved to In Transit?

Mine is still pending.

Update - my latest

UPDATE - I just received my VVR and there has been some movement:

VVR on 3/22 - Awaiting shipment / Delay Rail Carrier-Santa Rit / Start date 4/2, End 4/08
VVR on 3/31 - Awaiting shipment / Ramp 7V-Veracruz VL / Start date 4/2, End 4/08

My 'status date' is 3/28. I assume I'm waiting on a ship from Veracruz to JAX. I have not received anything from Ford that says 'shipped'. Maybe I'll get the shipped email when it's on the boat?

Hopefully this is useful information for everyone (especially those in Florida and Georgia). Also, hopefully this helps everyone in batch 3565.

Update as of today’s VVR;
Delay- Convoy Carrier, Veracruz VE,
Status date - April 1
Start date - April 5
End date - April 11

Dealer wasn’t sure of the shipping method. His guess was by ship because if it was by train the VVR usually shows a rail car number.

So it looks like my information has changed a little from yesterday. Previously the bar at the top showed "Unknown Status" and it now shows "In Transit". The other change is at the bottom. It went from blank to "Picked".

Edit - Some additional information: Ordered 8/29. In production 1/19. Car was Built 3/17 and I received the shipped email 3/22 that stated a delivery date of 4/16 to 4/22.

I believe, from reading other posts on here, that picked status means that it has arrived in MO and is ready to be moved to it's next destination. If I remember the information correction Jack Cooper just moves it from the train yard from Mexico to the next train yard. A few places they do actually just truck it most/all of the way. You'll see status change again (maybe delivered, I'm not positive) once they've delivered it to the next rail yard.

Funny. They can't ship it due to being backed up yet random freaking build weeks just slip right through.

not sure why that was, but it could have been:

The cars that went through were not missing chips for what I suspect BlueCruise and or Co-pilot 360 non equipped vehicles...or the parts came in and/or they had to clear the line before they brought our cars back from "off site" storage to complete them and/or now everything is in a massive queue line with last in/first out parking.

Still waiting on my GT, non-Blue Cruise. It was put on chip hold in January, Built in early March, and has been in that state ever since. This tracks with others in this thread (right down to the color).

Perhaps there were some vehicles from that freight ID that did change status.

My freight ID is: 1363830227. I don't know if any other cars are in that group, or if that is unique to my car. I noticed my tracker said "there are currently 12 other vehicles being tracked in the same status. That number went to 14, then 16 and now it is 18.

Or it may be how many people are logged in?

Nothing else has changed on either Ford page. It still says not shipped and delivery is scheduled for May 2-8.

Is anyone else in that freight ID?
