My guess is that this removal of Park Assist from the additional features section of your Ford account doesn't necessarily mean you car's configuration has been updated -- folks are reporting this change whether or not they got the "Your Order has been Updated" emails-- even folks who already have window stickers (confirming Park Assist) and have had their cars built/shipped are seeing this change to their account. That's crazy, I just logged in the other day and my Active Park Assist was still there as a key feature. Just checked now and it's gone. No $325 discount either. I did go to the dealer the other day and they asked if I wanted to waive it and I said I'll keep it as-is since I'm not in a rush to get the car. I hope they're not forcing us to go without it. At the very least, they should install it for $325 later when the kit is available without charging extra labor.
My interpretation is that
1) If you weren't already scheduled for production when this change was announced, you're not going to get scheduled (for now) if you don't accept the Prep Kit
2) If you were already scheduled for production before this change was announced, you may still be getting it, but you may not know for sure until you get your window sticker and you car is built/shipped. Just ask the folks in the 3/14 build week who thought they were getting Park Assist but it was pulled at the last minute so that their cars would be built faster.
