That's crazy, I just logged in the other day and my Active Park Assist was still there as a key feature. Just checked now and it's gone. No $325 discount either. I did go to the dealer the other day and they asked if I wanted to waive it and I said I'll keep it as-is since I'm not in a rush to get the car. I hope they're not forcing us to go without it. At the very least, they should install it for $325 later when the kit is available without charging extra labor.
My guess is that this removal of Park Assist from the additional features section of your Ford account doesn't necessarily mean you car's configuration has been updated -- folks are reporting this change whether or not they got the "Your Order has been Updated" emails-- even folks who already have window stickers (confirming Park Assist) and have had their cars built/shipped are seeing this change to their account.

My interpretation is that
1) If you weren't already scheduled for production when this change was announced, you're not going to get scheduled (for now) if you don't accept the Prep Kit
2) If you were already scheduled for production before this change was announced, you may still be getting it, but you may not know for sure until you get your window sticker and you car is built/shipped. Just ask the folks in the 3/14 build week who thought they were getting Park Assist but it was pulled at the last minute so that their cars would be built faster.

I posted in the wrong post but yes, I was sent the "your order has been updated" yesterday and seems it changed from "Active Park Assist 2.0" to "Active Park Assist Prep-kit" but no change in pricing. ordered Prem, AWD, IBS std r.

I don't see anywhere that it says to accept the change or contact dealer to accept etc...?It seems like they just changed it and doesn't need approval?

If it's anything like what they are doing with the F150 there will be a form you will need to sign explaining the removal of the Active Park Assist at delivery.

I just noticed that my order has been changed to the Prep Kit and I have been scheduled for 4/25 for some weeks now.

At this rate, I'm not sure it's a good thing. More and more amenities are being removed.
Yeah but based on the recalls and software issues from Job 1 and Job 2 2021 MMEs, there is at least the best chance of having a smoother experience being a Job 2 2022.

I am in that Job 2 2022 bucket, and I don't mind missing the auto park or the laminated front windows or whatever.

But as an example of what I mean, I have a Job 1 2021 F-150. I have encountered most of the growing pains issues of a new launch vehicle. When I took delivery, my onboard modem didn't work so no FordPass or Hotspot. Also wireless Carplay/AA didn't work. This was due to a programming issue with trucks built between April and May 2021. I also have an issue where my sliding rear window rattles when open and music is playing (This is a common 2021 F-150 issue and corrected by a TSB, so many 2021 F-150s have it, but 2022 truck do not). Also have the drooping underbody heat shield that is actually a recall which I need to get done. Also the trailer brake controller reprogram.

ALSO, I still don't have BlueCruise despite having a prep pack truck, much like many Job 1 2021 MME owners. And I have had OTA update issues.

Do you know who has none of the issues above? Job 2 2022 F-150 owners, and most of the Job 1 2022 F-150 owners. There are 2022 F-150 owners that have been driving around with BlueCruise for months now, while I still wait for it, now half way through my vehicle lease.

I knew what I was getting into, buying a first year vehicle and all that. I am only a little salty about it (mainly just the lack of BlueCruise progress and communication). But if I bought my truck for 2022, and I could skip all those issues but had to give up active park assist? Man, no question, I would totally make that trade.

So hopefully we, as 2022 Job 2 MME owners, have to give up laminated windows and active park assist, but skip stuff like the windshield recall and a lot of the other software bugs.

So here is the sequence of events that happened for me.

Yesterday, Active Park Assist disappeared with no prep kit or credit. This afternoon dealer emailed about the change and asking for my approval. I consented and within minutes dealer had an updated DORA with the updated pricing. Also got the "Your vehicle order has been updated" email right away. Logged in on ford.com and now the Prep Kit is under Additional Features and the price has been updated.

It's not the same though because job 1 last year was the early release cars that included all the bugs, modules requiring updates and missing software that come with being first. Job 1 this year didn't introduce anything new where that would be a concern.

Not sure if it's a delayed thing or not but for me the online order page shows the prep kit now and the price is still the same but the most recent order preview sheet from the dealer (sent after I requested info on whether or not I needed to take action/approve it) shows the -$325 prep kit and adjusted price. It might be very likely that it will never update on the Ford.com details page.

Possibly, I can check your status like I did with Melancholy if you have your Sales Code/Ordering Dealer Code and Order Code. The dealer code usually starts with an "F" and then five digits, the order code is usually four characters with the first character being a letter. (A121 or whatever).
Can you please check mine Sales Code - F74008, Order Code - 1729. Really appreciate it. I have been trying to explain to my dealer about this prep kit but they are not willing to touch the order saying the price is going up when we make any change and possibly trying to tie me to the new price :(. I have no hopes they will honor my original MSRP at this point.

Tl;dr: Call the Ford Marketing Support line to confirm your order status if you haven't been scheduled yet.

FYI, providing my experience with this. I called my dealer on Thursday (3/24) (in hopes of getting scheduled for May (ordered ~20 weeks ago) and asked them about my order status. They said everything was fine. I even mentioned the "active park assist" change needing to be confirmed and the salesman said there was no issue with that. I decided to call the Ford Marketing Support line on Monday and they checked the order status and said there was a 'compatibility issue' that was keeping my order from being scheduled. I asked if they could provide more information or fix the order, but they said I had to call the dealer. I immediately called my dealer and mentioned the compatibility error on the order and the salesman worked with the manager for ~30 minutes to manually update the order. I called the Ford Marketing Support line and confirmed that my order looked "good" again.

This is incredibly frustrating as this most likely kept me from getting scheduled for May production. Also, who knows how long my order would have sat there with the compatibility error which would further delay my order being scheduled. Obviously the dealers have no idea what is going on. Also, I would have never identified this as an issue on my order without this forum (thankful for this).
What's the number of marketing support line?

I called today, they know nothing more than the web page says. "In order processing" is the status, and they say the next status is in production, anything else I want to know I need to ask my dealer.

I also use the chat today, the ask about my FOUR digit order number... They say without the 4 digits they cannot view.

My active park assist has been removed for weeks, no prep kit yet, no reply from my dealer.

Can you still confirm status for me? It took me a bit to get the info, but I have an order code of 8650 and a Sales Code of F74009.

I got a copy today of a Preview Order sheet (that appears to be what it's called). Fleet manager (oversees orders at this dealership) is being helpful, and I'm trying not to be too big of a hassle to him, or anyone else. I know this is a months-long process; I'm just wanting to be able to verify (as independently as possible) that my order doesn't get stuck somewhere but keeps flowing through the process.

Thanks!
