Did I get Blue Cruise or did the Dealer waste my day?

For those of you whom had the dealer do the BC Update, was a Master Reset necessary? That is a PIA. My car did not charge last night. I reset up the schedule while it was plugged in yesterday. Hoping it charges tonight!! Had to set up the whole thing like it was brand new.

I had to do that after dealer installed CSP 21P22.

A master reset is unlikely. However, you may need to setup "Home" again, by charging once for a few minutes, then unplugging and setting the location.

The master reset was done while my dealer had the car. And yes I had to reestablish my home charger by first connecting it. However it still did not charge last night even though it was scheduled from midnight to 6 AM to charge. Actually, it added 30 miles. Still not sure exactly what happened.

Same thing happened to me, I had to unplug/ replug to get charging to start. After a couple times of doing that it started working per schedule again!

A master reset should not be necessary.

But the 21G01 instructions specifically says to do two (2) hard resets for the MME.

Yeah, but that's just a reset of Sync, not a master reset of the car. I wonder how many dealers aren't doing those Sync resets and that's why the Hands-Free option isn't showing up.

So assuming the dealer did the computer update part correctly, can I reset the Sync myself? Is so HOW?

Not sure if it’s the same as a Sync reset through FDRS, but you can give it a try. Hold down the Volume Down and Next Track buttons together for 5 seconds until you see the screen reboot.

It says "from FDRS Main Menu".
