I just got my Mach-e this month and I'm looking into getting solar panels for my home. I was wondering if there is a way to see how many kWs I've charged my vehicle for this month thus far so I can extrapolate my energy requirements? I wasn't able to locate this in an aggregate in the FordPass App, so wondering if the data might be elsewhere?

There might be a better way but you can estimate by going into Charge Logs in FordPass. It’s unfortunately logged as %, so you’ll have to multiply by your battery kWh capacity and total it up for the month.

Alternatively going forward you can record the kWh added from the charging status screen in the morning. But that goes away once you unplug.

I don't think you have access to that info in the car or FP app. ???
You can estimate by miles driven divided by 3.3. That should get you close enough for your needs.

Exactly what @Chainspell said, and you will also need to add a little extra (I believe about 10%) due to inefficiencies in the EVSE. So if you use 100kwh in ford pass you probably drew about 110kwh from the grid. If you’re only charging at home it will be significantly higher consumption in winter as well, probably another 40% or so for 3-4 month. The car will run way less efficiently from about December thru March in cold climates.

Check out an app called Opti-watt. You'll sign into your Ford Pass account and it will receive permission to track your charging. As a bonus, you can also input your electricity rates / energy company and rate plan for them to give you a rough estimate of cost.

ChargePoint Home Flex charger has this capability built in also. Keeps track of energy, estimated miles and costs. You enter the car type and it can figure out your utility rates form the GPS location.

Bad news.....My highly anticipated Chargepoint Home Flex is DEAD !!!!!!! No power or light indication.....I have reset both the breaker/charger and unplug from Wall outlet. Also had my Electrician test the breaker as well.

Only in use for 1.5 wks.....

Bought it directly from Chargepoint.

Great tip. I just downloaded this app. It shows I have saved 1189 gal of gas over 21396 miles. At the current local rate of $3.79 that = $4506.31. Not bad
