The "NYC bad weather"? It can handle "Vermont bad weather", and "Colorado bad weather" just fine. NYC doesn't get anywhere near the winters of some places.

Handle in what way? There's plenty of cars not nearly as capable as a modern 2022 Mach E driving the NYC roads every day so I'll say yes.

Worried about snow, slush, etc. I live in an area (Nyack) that has mild hills. More concerned about my GF driving it in rush hour traffic 25 MI. each way than myself. Thx

Conditions are worse however. Middle America states have vast amounts of area, and the equipment ready for it at all times, as it's predictable large amounts of snow.

We deal with nor'easters. Much less predictable, much harsher, more snow in less periods of time. NYC has to rig up garbage trucks to keep up with salting, and when you have a surprise large storm and icy conditions that they predicted was going to be 3-6 inches total, the city is caught off guard causing arguably worse conditions than Vermont or Colorado.

Wouldn't get a RWD in the tri-state area during winters if you have to commute.

I grew up in NJ, outside NYC. Very well aware of the conditions there. In a major snowstorm, only crazy people drive in NYC. Wouldn't matter what you had in deep snow, Mach-E will bottom out.

I live in the NY metro area. I always seek AWD cars mostly because I never want something to stop me….
I’ve got standard battery too

No issues to report. Car handles very well. It’s also a heavy car which helps

I think AWD > RWD in snow but that the difference is small compared to the difference between dedicated snow tires and not.

This ^^^^

Snow tires are more important than AWD. If you have good tires, MME RWD will be fine. The only concern is the depth of the snow, which is going to impact all non-GT models equally.
