Thought planning for this eventuality is better just in case for long trips.

Came across this nice YouTube video advising to carry A23 battery in the front bumper slot. Thinking that this should work for Mach e's as well?

Why? Simply connecting any 12V car battery or jump pack works. What are you going to do when you open the frunk? Jump it. So, you jump the bumper leads to open the frunk...

The only reason to do this is if you're going to carry a jump pack in the frunk, and you can't get to it any other way.

What a great idea. @dlk9312 thanks for the post. I may think about doing this. You should add this thread to some of the other discussion about how to get into the frunk with a dead battery.

Isn't that the point of the demonstration?

Could be. Didn't watch the video. There are several threads here discussing the same thing, no reason to watch YouTube video in addition.

I went through the previous threads and saw that 1.2 amps is required and the A23 is about 2 to 15 milliamps. The eight AA batteries seems to be the solution.
I do kinda wonder how the Tesla frunk works with such a tiny amount of power.

Has anybody tried it on the MME?
