Tomato or Tormatoe
Ford or GM, BMW or Mercedes or Audi or Porsche

I have owned both starting with the ICE mustangs and now the GTPE
The Lyric is a nice alternative but IMO the MME is sexier to have in my garage and sportier....

I also own Audi', Bimmers, Porsche's-
I am waiting for the Audi A6 Etron in 2023-24, I think it's the most beautiful EV to come out from the Germans......That is when I will sell my GTPE

currently car-less, but hope to get a MME!

Agreed! The A6 Etron is gorgeous.

Despite the Lyriq being 10 inches longer than the MME, the total interior passenger volume (105 cubic feet) is just marginally larger than the MME's (101.1 cubic feet). Wonder where the extra length is going.

For me and Only me......if an EV gets over 250 miles range and Fast/Sporty, I am fine with it....
I didn't buy the GTPE for the range, I bought bc I like the styling/curves of the body.....Tech is not bad from Ford, the knob on the screen was another factor I like with the Info screen....

I know the Lyriq doesn't have a tax credit currently but who knows about 2023-2024 when it is delivered....

Ford and Toyota will have their tax credits phased down/out and I'm sure politician's coffers will be greased to bring back something. 1 EV tax credit per year would be fair to prevent tax credit abuse.

The Lyriq in AWD will get a 280-ish range. About 30 less than RWD.
Where did you read that? I haven't seen that published anywhere.

I doubt it will come back at this point, not with EV sales growing as they are and especially not with Republicans about to regain control of at least one part of the government.

After the mid-terms there will be even less support for subsidizing luxury electric vehicles. 2025 is probably the soonest there could be a change, but as a taxpayer I hope there isn't.

I like the Lyriq a lot from the photos. I really wanted to see one in person at the auto show this year but wasn't here and I wasn't willing to wait for it.

In 2 years there will be a gen 2 MME and a lot of other choices. At the minute I'd kinda like to see a Lincoln version of the MME as the MME has been better to live with than I expected.

I used to think 300 miles of range was the magic number but am finding 230 is fine. This will be even more true if the car can get closer to summer range in the mild PNW winters.

I think the MME will learn your driving habits and will adjust to meet or beat EPA

I saw a Youtube video where this Car Salesman from Alabama did a range test and the GT exceeded the 270 miles range....Let me find it and post

So I am selling my 2017 Cadillac CTS. I love the car but I am getting $30,000 to put on my MME.
So why I am switching.
Three local Cadillac dealers closed their doors and are no longer going to work on Cadillacs, and I think they shrank there dealer network.
Cost isn’t even close, but on the flip side the Ford to Cadillac comparison is not close. The Cadillac will have more creature comforts.

I will say I think gm mishandles their technology. Limiting super cruise, and now ultra cruise, heck even adaptive cruise isn’t standard.

The Lyric will be a cool car but to the buildout to get what you will want will be insane.

This is a lower vehicle, more like that Audi.
