I am getting more push back from the dealer on this. Does the options rebate apply at order date or delivery?
Thanks.

Both. The dealer can pull up rebates from time of order and now and see what is best. I believe there is a problem with 2022s ordered in 2021. Not really a problem I guess, but since there weren’t any 2022s at time of order, there weren’t any rebates, so you might have to take day of delivery incentives.

For MY22's, it seems there was a default 2.7% rate before the promotional incentives (2.49% for non-Gt's, 1.4% for GT's) came into effect. It's unclear when that changeover happened exactly, but I can attest no later then early January. In any case, all MY22 orders (before order banks closed on April 8) will have better rates from time of order then they are now.

As for rebates, I think they were in effect the whole time, even for MY22 orders in 2021. Take the ones available at the time of order, they will be higher.

Thanks for the info. I put my order in March and it was 2500 then and not applied to my offer sheet. I just found out about it. It's now 2K. My goal is to get it applied to my order for fear it may go away. I'm not sure how it works. Or, do I only get rebates at time of delivery?

Thanks, I ordered in March (2500 rebate). I asked the dealer to pull up my order and apply it, but they are confused its only at time of delivery.

Nothing gets applied to orders.

At time of delivery, you get best of time of order or time of delivery. Dealer can see both in system.

In my case, my dealer could confirm that I could get the promotional rate/incentive from the time of order (and confirm what it was-- though I knew already). I don't think they can truly lock that down until the car is delivered and they run your credit though. The Ford Option rate and incentive was not on my order sheet, but as my delivery date got closer, I did get a "proposal" which outlined the selling price, rebate, fees, deposit and monthly payment for a few different Ford Options financing scenarios. It ended up being pretty much exactly what ended up on the final contract, just fewer details.

Going to pick up MME today. Salesperson is playing dumb.
He wants me to show him how I would get the incentive.
What do I do?

Ask the salesperson if they have access to SmartVincent. If not they should talk to their sales manager or the GM of the store. Anyone that has had the SmartVincent training knows how to pull incentives and lock them to the order date or delivery date.

I visited my dealer last week since our car is coming in soon. It took my salesman seconds to pull up my vincent report and back date to my incentives from November, 2021. He then printed me out the 36 and 48 month Options cost estimates. And while this is the largest Ford dealer in the country, they don't have a ton of experience with Options/EVs, but he still got it figured out quickly.

There is no excuse for this salesman or dealership not figuring this out. This is their only reason for being in business, and I would work up the chain until I got an answer.

Thanks! I will make them work for their 1k processing fee. I have done all the work so far.
Is this incentive based on taking their financing and ballon payment?

If you want the Ford Options Bonus Cash incentive or the Ford Options APR then you have to do Ford Options financing via Ford Credit. Ford Options is only available via Ford Credit.

What?

SmartVincent is your individual incentives, it has nothing to do with your city. This makes no sense as it's not even a Mach-e specific thing. For any vehicle he sells he should be looking up what incentives the person is eligible for.

The only thing I could imagine is if the state doesn't allow price protection for some reason, or it's a side effect of some other law. Like how some states have laws that restrict companies from certain activities, so when you sign something it may say you can't restrict them from doing X, except in the following states.
