How many miles are any of you getting on a full charge with the extended range battery? On my 2021 MME a full charge would get me an average of 298 miles in the summer. On my new 2022 MME I'm only getting a max of 248 on a full charge. Is there a breakin period before the mileage will go up?
Did you perform the trip reset as well?

I did. On another note, I have my 2021 in service for the recall of the roof, windshield, and the update because it's a job 1 from 2021. Roof and windshield are done but the computer crashed during the update and they can't figure it out. It's been in service for a week now.

I have a good feeling about this week for you and Jonathan Ezor, Stanman, ItsFootballTim, Omaha Mark, and MachE Mike. I’m going out on a limb and say half of you will get delivered this week.
As of this morning, no news, but I'll keep checking. {Jonathan}

Very nice to see another delivery!
Congratulations!
Today, I verified that while hands on Blue Cruise works, it never switches over to hands free. Definitely should have worked on the highway I was on (73 toll road for SoCal people). Car says I don’t need any updates ?

Mine still showing this in the United Road Logistics search tool:

Ford Mustang Mach-E 01/10/22 Build Week Chat/Gang 1654786086462

My dealer said yesterday that he has no info. beyond the VVR or control over delivery; it's all done by the factory (i.e. Ford corporate). Looks like one more weekend without my car. ARGH. {Jonathan}

The “inactive” status is something that should be overtly noted by FordMC. It suggests major problems with the carrier, I think. Dealer needs to contact FMC again.

I agree the inactive status is concerning... Have you continued checking your NS railcar? Inactive suggests it's still not unloaded. But if your railcar is in 'released empty' status or has moved on elsewhere (presumably without your car) United Road should have updated to Pending Pickup within a day of that change.

Oy. I just checked; the car still shows in RLOD Newark, NJ and the last update was 5/24, more than 2 weeks ago. So, it's not even *off the train* yet?!? {Jonathan}

That’s what I think “inactive” suggests. I think it is much like Palsapp, which would then be paired, picked, and delivered by the next transport carrier to its next destination. So, it may be they are still trying to find a carrier.

Argh. Thanks for the pointers, anyway. As I just posted to Twitter, at this point, I'm more and more glad that I bought a 12-volt battery desulfator in preparation for my Mach-E's arrival, since it will be at least 5 months since start of building (week of Jan. 10), and God only knows the state of the 12-volt after all this sitting. (And my blood pressure will not be helped if it turns out my car develops the HVBJB problem..........)

Sad to say, I’m hoping there’s incompetence in logging status - which could be. Is HVBJB less likely if nobody touches your car? I’m thinking most of us have about the same number of transitions, though in your case WAY TOO LONG wait time between.

I am in the same situation as @JonathanEzor. Car is in Newark and going to the same dealer...of course now I wonder about that as well. On 5/14 when I checked the NS phone line - it said that it arrived in Doremus or something to that effect. I then went away on a trip so I didn't check things while I was away. When I checked again about a week and half later it said something to the effect of "left on flatbed, scanner(?) Port of Newark, NJ"....something like that. I have checked a few times after that including today and it is the same. I just assumed this meant that the car was unloaded and that the railcar left Newark.

I got registered with United Road around mid May and it has showed "inactive" since then. I assumed this just meant that the car wasn't sceduled yet to be picked up.

A couple of things I have seen mentioned in other threads:

- Things are backed up in Newark due to a lack of trucks\truck drivers. (see the 3rd bullet though)
- Other mach e's showed up in United Road for other members, but got trucked to the dealer via another carrier so the status never changed.
- A fellow 3/14 build group member (mine was produced on 3/14, but went on chip hold) waited about 10 days from arriving to Newark to taking delivery (this was early to mid may)
- A 4/11 build group member had his car arrive on in Newark on 5/29 and is now being trucked to the dealer (via him looking at UR status). Ford and it's 3rd party delivery companys seem to emply a first in, last out process unfornutely.

Agree with Jonathan about the 12V battery and I got a desulfication device as well. By my calculations, my mach e has been sitting around parking lots be it in Mexico ot NJ, for a total of 63 days. This doesn't include the time it sat on a train traveling, etc. or in lots around KC. Once it left Mexico, the time it got to NJ seemed to be typical with no real delays.

Didn't think of the sitting around time in terms of days, just general concept. Wow. And add to your days the extra ones Jonathan had for the first 1/10 to March chip hold.
Ford needs to track your cars, and get them to you. I am frustrated for you both - and my frustration must be 1/100th of yours.

Did you reset the EV history when you picked up the car? Not the trip odometer. If not, then the GOM is going to be inaccurate until it loses the first miles of history. There is no break-in period on an EV that impacts miles per kW (although the tires do have a break-in period of 300 miles). If you reset the trip odometer, and you get X miles per Kw, and multiple that by 91 on your 2022, that's the range, period, end of discussion.
