So frustrated to post my experience here, but my 2021 Premium AWD Extended bricked the 3rd time after "fixed" twice by the dealer. And the 2nd Fix include the latest recall software update!!

Jun 14 : Car get faulty error during charging at a DCFC station, and not able to start with "stop safely now" error while trying to start. 12V dead after a few hours too. Waited 7 hours to finally get the Ford roadside service to get it towed...

Jun 17 : Dealer said it's 12V battery's issue, after replaced 12V, they said it's fixed and I get my car back. However after 10 min driving home, stopped the car and tried to start it again after 5 min, the car wouldn't start again with same SSN alarm. Has to towed to dealership again.

Jun 28 : I see some alerts and driving log from FordPass. Seems dealer somehow bring it up and was doing driving test.

Jun 29 : Dealer told me car is fixed by finishing the software update for the 2 recalls ( 21G01 for BC, 22S41 for the safety recall).

Jun 30 : Car loss power whiling driving, same SSN error. Had to pull over on the road. I feel the big screen so HOT, untouchable, my cellphone which connected to the USB also too hot and turned off itself. Car being towed back to dealership once again.

I think I saw someone mentioned we have Ford engineers in the forum, could anyone help to tell how can I get their attention and get this fixed as soon as possible?

Hey there! I can look into your Mach-E’s concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

Same problems, even worse customer service. They pretty much said too bad we need to write custom software for your specific car to get it to run again. After 3 months in the shop, we have to wait longer. They won't buy the broken car and won't send out a tech, won't replace the car. Imagine thinking tesla was not a reliable company. Ford puts them to shame. But they pay the media to cover this all up. Imagine having an electric premium ER during these high gas prices and having to drive a rental which they only covered the last two weeks

Not a good story.
Nice that Ford reached out to you.

Not that this will help your situation but it appears to me the initial 12V issue did not get to the root of the issue. It appears more likely the 12V issue was/is the BECM or HVBJB and not the battery. Obviously, I think, the recall update will not solve an issue that already exists. Interestingly though machncheese’s issue did not result in a SSN warning. It just resulted in a service required message. Hopefully they can get to the root cause of your issue and I also hope you can get a new HVBJB out of this!

Sorry this is happening for over 3 months. Seems like a compromise to me, regardless of what Ford management says. Keep us posted.

I am sorry to hear your story, feel bad that your car has been there for 3 months... I was just trying to be objectively describe my issue. I had multiple calls with Ford customer service, and now I am not even interest talking to them any more, they didn't help at all and not even trying to help but just telling me their policy, many times the call disconnected itself and transfered to survey, and they never call back when the call disconnected. They are also luck of escalation path, asked to speak to a supervisor and they can only have a management team call you back after 1 day and the management team said they can do nothing but the same as the agent. It's a waste of time talking to the customer service department.

Starting to sound like the Bolt battery fix Chevy tried, using software instead of hardware. This part needs to be updated, Ford doesn't want to deal with it.
