See my post here: https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...-look-at-range-figures.1717/page-5#post-46242

I don't think it's that great. Although most cars I've driven were Explorer's and the C-Max. Rear headrests are removable.
The rear window height is shorter than the view through the center mirror. So from that perspective, the view in my Fiesta is better (the window fills the mirror height).

On the other hand, my view in Fiesta shows me the grills and bumpers of cars behind me. I can't see driver faces which is a huge disappointment.

Can't really judge Mach-E rear view until we're able to drive it. My preference would be to see driver faces and this helps communicate their intent.

My feeling about the front drivers seat was that it had a lot of movement ability to it, and so I believe it will would go fairly high, especially because I felt there was a lot of height to the ceiling. I am 5'9" on a good day and I felt as if there was PLENTY of ceiling height. I line of sight out the front was great, the A pillars are well out of the way. By the way, the 360 camera was sooooo great! You can choose the whole 360 or a certain area of the exterior of the car, ie: front right bumper. Very cool.
Agree. The seat has plenty of range. When you turn off the car it lowers and moves back so it would be hard to get a measurement of how high it goes with someone my size in the seat.

Thats great - I like this implementation of seats moving back to allow more space to exit.

I would also expect that to be a configuration setting for those that would prefer the seat at full height for in/out

I hope that feature can be turned off. I want the seat to be high getting in/out so I don't have to crawl down into and out of it. That's my main reason for wanting it high.

My previous ford edge seat would just move back but not change seat height if I recollect correctly. Hope thats how it works

I was thinking of you when I wrote this:
The other potential problem with adjusting the seat high rather than the vehicle actually sitting high is possibly having to duck too much to clear the door opening. Kind of a tricky balancing act between the two, depending on how tall the door opening is.

It'll probably be OK. But for 60 grand, hoping it's better than just OK.

They talked about the feature that moves the seat back as a setting you can choose or not when you personalize the MME.

Cool. Actually moving back may not be too bad. Although not totally sure about that either. Had a rental car or two that did that. Fine if there's no one in the back seat, and nothing on the floor. But that's my favorite spot for putting restaurant take-home boxes, in case there's a spill. Setting them in the sloped seat can cause spills. Safer on the level floor.

I'm afraid the frunk is going to be more trouble than it's worth most of the time. Sounds like it'll be pretty much like opening the hood of the car, or the trunk of a sedan. The edges will probably be dirty, and it's more effort to either pull the inside release first, or fish for the fob in my pocket, or open the phone app. Then fish under the hood for a release (I assume there's one) and manually pull it up.

All the doors just take are a quick button push. The liftgate has a button or foot activation with a power opening. But the frunk hood is manual.

I suspect the frunk will just become long-term storage and/or infrequently-used spare cargo space.

There is not a second release under the hood. It's been shown in multiple videos.
