I saw the puddle light once and assumed I would see it every time I opened the door. I don't. Perhaps my garage needs to be nearly dark or else it will not show?

I could not get the liftgate to work. I thought someone else here got it to work so I assumed it would. It came within 1/2" of scratching the lip on my garage door hinge when I opened it manually. It extends farther out and is stronger than my Edge. I immediately toggled off the switch on the console. Now it the key only unlocks it.

It doesn't have ambient lighting under the seats like my Edge has. Sometimes the light comes in handy, besides looking cool. This guy confirms that. .

Thank you so much for this info and the video. I may get that cup holder accessory- didn’t know about that! Glad you avoided the scratches On your lift gate.

Severe thunderstorms just rolled thru my area. Wonder if my car sitting at the Elkhart railyard got some hail damage. Probably so, given how this whole process has gone.

I'm feeling the same way, I'm in the 5/23 build group but even there most people have gotten their cars delivered to every corner of the country but my car can't get out of the rail yard in Ohio and it's been there almost 2 weeks now. Even if the car is amazing, this whole ordering process has really killed most of my excitement for the car at this point.

Yep. Going down a country road, dude starts tailgating and then cuts me off real close in a double-yellow striped zone.

40+ days in the kc yard, so I feel you. I can promise you, it is 100% worth the wait!

I’m glad you think so, personally I don’t think it will be worth the wait. If I would have known all this I would have found one on a lot for MSRP many months ago and avoided the headaches. Ordering isn’t worth it to me.

This proud papa would like to announce the delivery of my baby girl at 2:34pm, weighing 4838 pounds, 6 ounces.

Experience was great, the internet sales manager asked me how I wanted to finance and to fill out at a credit application before I arrived. Pretty much everything was ready to go when I arrived, no pushback in the slightest over price protection, X-plan, or Ford Options from my order date. Only hiccup was they said 30% was the max downpayment for Options, not the 45% I was expecting--I will just enjoy the extra cash in my pocket.

Took her for a drive on the highway and she's a beast!

I had to get both of my keys well away from the car. Now as I approach the car with a key, the puddle light comes on .

I hope they are fixing all the bugs that they delivered our vehicles riddled with. That would be worth the wait, IMHO.
