CarPlay doesn’t cover the top bar, which is where the Alexa icon is.If they do make that icon non removable absent dinging up, I’ll either turn off automatic updates and not accept any that deal with Alexa, or I’ll simply always been in CarPlay and never use their UI.
I use both, and sometimes I say the wrong name. I feel like that’s the tech equivalent of saying the wrong name in bed. ?“Hey Siri”
“Yes?”
“Tell Alexa to turn off and uninstall”
“Glady.”
I really don’t use Siri either.
Then there will be a problem. I'd actually seriously consider selling the car. Yes, really.CarPlay doesn’t cover the top bar, which is where the Alexa icon is.
Thought it looked like youOk, who took the picture of me waiting for the frunk release? ?
Jim will pay for it, for all of us, just to get itI anticipate this will be a connected service tied into some other connected service requiring payment. Same with BlueCruise. Frunk release won't make them $$$ so why bother. At least that's my guess as it what priorities they have.
It's a test - they're needing us to play the game to gather data so they can design the lane change feature.Oh yay, a lane change game. That's not what we wanted when we said we wanted a Lane Change feature @Ford Motor Company

I had the same experience yesterday, too.So what is the easiest way to tell if you got an OTA update?
I got in my car and saw the tray icon with a check mark. Hit that and it said update successfully but doesn’t say anything about what updated. No messages in FordPass either.
I thought it was wet to do updates at 1:00 on Sat/Sun.
I checked the sync about page and it just showed my hands free being up 10-9-2022 which FordPass says is 7-5-25 (pretty sure sync said that before). Now I go back out and that date is blank on sync.
I already had Alexa prior to this update.
