I missed this thread when it was new. @DevSecOps you're a pillar of this community and I've always assumed you work for Ford but just don't tell us. ;-)

I'm so sorry this happened to you but in a sense having it occur for higher-profile MME owners may help escalate the need for better fixes.

Thanks for the great write up and I hope the car is fixed soon.

I would like to heavily reiterate that the dealership should be given a fair chance. Like I said earlier, my feeling is that there's just a lot of poor communication within the dealership, but that doesn't mean that they won't properly fix the car.

I was contacted by someone at corporate who explained that an apprentice pulled the car in the bay and was attempting to help the lead technician ahead of Monday. That they are fully aware of the issue and that what I observed was someone, new and less informed, trying to get a head start, which is commendable.

As I said earlier, I don't shame people or places. I think everyone deserves the benefit of doubt and I implore everyone to give them the same.

I'm so glad to hear someone from Ford corporate took the time to call you about this. The fact that they know the details of what's happening at the dealership is a very good sign. Fingers crossed this (and Covid and Paxlovid mouth) are behind you soon.

Wow, we are getting pretty off topic, we need to refocus on the issue at hand: what pillow did you buy (or were you intending to buy)?!? I’m in the market and wanna give it a whirl!
Well you see ... I'm a stomach sleeper, so I like a pillow that isn't a pillow. Finding a pillow with little stuffing isn't always the easiest. Heck, I'm happy sleeping on my arms without a pillow. Every hotel on earth has these fluffy pillows. It drives me nuts. So anyway, I ordered a Downlite 550 fill.

Damn, I'm planning on driving from the SF area to LA on Friday, and this is making me worried. Should I be worried?

Also, hope you have a speedy recovery, @DevSecOps.

How many miles do you have on your MachE? I’ve seen one other non-GT AWD owner post they had a SVS at 10k miles.
I have 9500 miles since 06/25/2021. 10k service performed in June 2022

I guess it would take an engineer to buy a pillow, remove some of the fill from a pillow... ? ?

I'll send you my pillow for fill removal if you agree to send me the video of you on your front porch rocking chair sewing it back together. Deal?

This is why buckwheat pillows are so nice. As a person with neck/spine problems, I swear by it.

No. I will subcontract to my wife - $25 to sew up a pillow.

These looked interesting so I ordered one. Quite expensive for a king at $160. And jeeezus 13lbs! But the curiosity got the better of me. I went with Hullo after some quick research and because it can be returned. My concern is they say best for side and back sleepers, which I am neither.
