This is interesting. What does that mean? Was curious about the possibility of buying a Mach-E off a dealership. It was a mistake to ever consider it. Reached out to villaford.com in Orange, CA and they called me back saying they had a Premium, 900 miles, sold back after several months by the owner because they wanted to claim the federal tax credit. I asked what the sticker price was and it was around 65000. 15k markup for a used car. Chitty Villa of Orange.
Good point.Not that much.
it’s a cheap marketing ploy. No one is paying $30k ADM on a Bronco. But you can advertise any “asking price” you want. And people give them free advertising by posting on social media.
Buyer of the car sold the car after a few months to the dealer. Next year, the buyer will claim the $7500 tax credit when filing their 2022 taxes. Profit! This is interesting. What does that mean?
But the next buyer would want to claim the tax credit too. Smells like a crimeBuyer of the car sold the car after a few months to the dealer. Next year, the buyer will claim the $7500 tax credit when filing their 2022 taxes. Profit!
They can't claim it because it'll be sold as used. Hopefully the 2nd buyer knows that. If not, they're going to have fun with the IRS.But the next buyer would want to claim the tax credit too. Smells like a crime

Am I missing something here? Is the Bronco an EV?They can't claim it because it'll be sold as used. Hopefully the 2nd buyer knows that. If not, they're going to have fun with the IRS.
