Whatever happened to the Charge Angels? Don't hear about them anymore. There used to be sightings every now and then and now nothing.

Interesting tweet reply to me from EA: it says in part "Our maintenance team is actively waiting for the necessary parts to bring the unavailable chargers back online". Still seems like cash flow issues to me.

Don’t know why they need “charge angles” to visit stations. They should stay in their houses and check plugshare. Seems pretty simple to me. Then call EA and tell them to fix the f’ing machines
Probably less than 1/4 people report on plugshare

Yeah, that is why a guy with an EV6 just had to get towed from Dateland Arizona. Not a level 2 anywhere between Yuma and Buckeye.

Crap. The EA app shows that site as open for business.
I am not in the habit of checking the stations before I take a trip. I usually don't check to see if the airports are open when I take a flight. I guess this is the world we live in now.

Given the current supply chain issues, it could be they really are waiting for parts. IDK?

Nothing in this world is free. EA doesn't give these car manufactures free charging out of the kindness of their hearts. The manufactures are paying the charging networks who intern use that money to fund chargers. So yes "free charging" adds to the network load, it also funds the expansion of the network. These deals are important in securing the capital for expansion as it's contracted revenue.
That's not the"free" that Mark was referring to. It's free to the user that creates the problematic behavior of people charging at a "free" charger rather than at home, or some other more efficient and logical place that's a better use of limited resources. Like for instance ID4 owners tying up precious EA chargers for 3 years rather than charging at home.

Yeah, because supply chain issues don't affect EA...

Always been that way in the 14 months we've been driving an EV. Not checking a station is crazy.
