So many questions and not enough answers LOL

In In BC we have a $9k rebate on the Select only - now with potential changes not sure if I should stay with it or upgrade to Premium but would lose $4k off the rebate. Ugh

Maybe Just select and upgrade in a year to a premium

The good news is all these price increases will keep the dealerships more in check.

Or no longer available on select. Personally Ford is really lacking in the standard feature department.

The prices that have gone out, the Mach is over priced
If you think Ford is lacking on the standard features for the Mach E go look at BMW i4 and Audi E-Tron you don’t get their BlueCruise equivalent, no adaptive cruise control or 360 cameras. You’ll have to g too their top of the line model to have the privilege of selecting it as an upgrade option.

Yes, clarified. Though it appears the Select will only have a 90 day trial to Blue Cruise and related features. So it's a bit more complicated than that...
I'm confused what Blue Cruise is then. I thought the 2022 had adaptive cruise control as a standard feature. At least that's what the dealer said (whom I losing faith in more and more). So the whole Blue Cruise comes equipped on it but after 90 days you have to pay? What's the monthly fee? Are we talking 20 bucks a month? 50?

Well, these price increases may have just made my decision for me. I don't think I'm ordering one now...
I’m disappointed but I’m still going to order one, and see how the rebates and incentives pan out. I don’t think I’ll be eligible for the rebates. I wasn’t buying this car to save the world, I know where batteries come from. But now I’m thinking of buying a $45k ICE that’s less buggy, cheaper to insure and spending the $25k I saved on gas and oil changes.

Says they will make them a private offer, so I'm guessing it will be a little bit more but probably less than the actual price increase.

If they are charging me more, I’m considering filing a lawsuit against Ford and the dealership. I’ve been waiting for almost a year (like I’m sure most of you have to), meanwhile Ford and the dealership have been selling a large percentage of their stock at high markups. This is bad faith.

The only way Ford can make this right in my eyes is if they give me a select with the tech package (doesn’t seem to be possible) OR upgrade me to a equivalent 2023 model with the same price (47k before fees).

No it will not - availability and high-demand will still be an issue. The only thing keeping dealerships in check are levies and restrictions assessed by Ford Corporate towards dealerships. The sooner Ford Model E can take off and begin direct-to-consumer deliveries, the sooner new EV owners can start experiencing the benefits of owning and EV, without being taken advantage of by a predatory industry (dealerships).

Read the FORD CO-PILOT360™ TECHNOLOGY subsection of the Select Standard Equipment section of the order guide. It won't answer how much it'll cost after 90 days (TBD?), but at least you'll know what it would include.

Edit: Package 18B will be available on the Select to continue BlueCruise/360 Camera features beyond 90 days. No info on cost yet.

But let’s say the dealership adds 10k to the MSRP of a premium extended range. At $75k, that will definitely drive down demand. At these prices, they’re already so inflated, I find it hard to believe that a dealership can tack on another $10k and be able to find a buyer.

Not a big deal but it looks like 2023 completely dropped the Active Park Assist.

I think I'm still in with the price increase, but I'll probably need to drop down from Extended to Standard Range. That'll cover 99% of my driving, but could cause me trouble during some occasional regional travel (120 miles one way) in the cold.

Wow I was looking forward to pre ordering a Mach e but the price increases are ridiculous. A premium with extended battery will cost me 70k… no thanks what a ripoff

Thats probably how I will be as well. I was considering the ET on a premium awd but with those prices increases that made the decision for me and I will likely just go with the SR and save the $8,600.

Wowzers. So we ordered in November 2021 and our Premium ER AWD with interior protection package and the cyber orange option, both added costs, came out to $57k before A-Plan. Now a 2023 Premium SR AWD without interior protection or a color up charge are that much.

Makes me even more torn on Options vs straight up just financing the thing. I know both allow eventual buy out, and I haven't heard back yet what options incentives will be available to us (if any) to push it over the edge. But owning this at a pretty good price, it seems, might be worth it. Especially since no surprise changes came for 2023 that would make them more valuable in the used market over our 2022.

I get that Ford needs more margin, but prices really need to be going the other way on all EVs like GM is doing with the Bolt. Then again, maybe for now this is good until the public charger infrastructure gets their act together...
