“Private offer” anyone?

Hey… just wanted to update. My dealer says he has not gotten a full answer on what happens to “private offers” if I switch to a premium. So glad he is not speculating, but didn’t want to leave anyone hanging.

That's not true, the new trim will have the same order number and original date

I was able to change my order to a premium. The order number stayed the same.

My dealer did say they could change it and it would stay in the queue. Barring any supply chain issues it should not take any longer…what he was concerned with is the private offer and making sure there were no more hoops to make sure I could get it.

Exactly regardless if you got the select, prem, gt when they roll it over it would list the new msrp prices for everything. That is why there is no point cancelling just roll it over to what you want and wait for private offer.

I think there is too much speculation with some dealers. They are expected to have all the answers. I think it’s hard for some of them to just say “wait, I don’t know.“ Our Mach-E’s are not a big % of their business when you look at the big picture.

My order was a 2022 premium and now it shows as 2023 premium on the Ford website (same order#, order date) and the price which it’s showing is also the same. What does it show for Select with C/T package ?

I think the Premium was a few more $K over than just the Select + C&T package since it has a few more items (B&O stereo, LED lights, Seats, Wheels, etc...), but I'm in agreement that'd be the best outcome if possible.

It'd probably bump it up another $2K-3K, but I think that's certainly more fair.

I stopped by the dealer today to ask about changing my converted 2022 order from a Select to a Premium, and they just so happened to have a 2022 Premium available that someone walked away from. Iced Blue Silver instead of the Star White that I ordered, but with no markup and a guaranteed tax credit, I'll take it! ?
