I have two drivers set up, each driver was assigned an individual fob, separate profile and pair the phone. I am the primary driver, but half the times I approach the car it switches to the second driver's profile. Anyone knows how to fix this?

Known bug, at least for us, but only for seat position. Sync profile seems to flip to me when I use my fob/phone.

Known bug in the DSM (driver's seat module). It may have been introduced within the past year, and there hasn't been an OTA fix. There is an updated version of this module available though and I'm going to request it updated if I ever need to take the car in for service. I haven't seen a report back whether the update fixes it.

Known workaround is to use the physical 1/2/3 button on the door and it will adjust seat, lighting, sync settings, etc.

thanks - I use the physical button to correct it when this happens... equally I have been able to do it via the console, so for me is not just the seat adjustment but also the driver's profile preference like one pedal driving, etc...

Is the other fob in range still? Do you keeps your keys close to the garage? I'm wondering if it is still close to enough to just be getting both fobs, maybe? Are you remote starting the car or it is off?

The DSM update might fix it, but I still have the profile and driver seat movement bug when I remote start, which I was hoping the DSM update would fix. When I remote start, it is 50/50 whether it will be on my profile or guest, if it is on guest, my seat won't move forward from easy entry/exit position.

Not sure if you saw my thread on this but it has nothing to do with other fobs being too close. See my situation2 where I was out of town: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/inconsistency-loading-driver-profiles.20508/

Hmm. When I press the physical door button it also changes the Sync profile. I can tell by the avatar at the top changing. This includes my drive mode (I am Engage 2PD, wife is Whisper 1PD). I haven't been using the screen to change profiles, the button seems to be a complete workaround. I have a '22 built in May if that matters.

this happens anywhere with the second fob no where in sight.

Sorry yes - the physical button changes the profile as well... i was trying to say that it is not just the seat adjustment that is changing, it is the entire user profile.

We have the same issue. My wife will be at work which is about 30 miles away and it changes to my profile. She is on Profile 1 and I'm on Profile 2.

I am running into this now. It doesn't go to my profile and just the Guest one lately. The Guest is actually set to my settings so it's no big deal, but I don't like seeing the white screen (how I know it's on the Guest profile).

I can also press the profile to switch, but it doesn't seem to switch.

I just found this on another thread, going to give it a try this weekend. Looks like adding a 3rd profile to max out the profiles might resolve the switching issue.

https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/profiles-there-but-lost.21476/post-504710
Didn't on mine.

I have the 3rd profile set to both mirrors drop.

I'm the 1st profile and when I get ready to reverse, I hit button #3 and all it does is aim the mirrors down so I can see better. (set up your profile settings in #1 or #2 then adjust the mirrors to your liking for reversing, then press and hold #3 to save your profile twice with the mirrors angled down in the #3 mode)

so for me/us, filling in the profiles does nothing to fix the issue.

That would be an incredible workaround! Please report back findings. I'm not sure when I can test this out myself (busy weekend ahead).
It would appear this solution did not work. When I setup the 3rd profile, I had already deleted my wife's (#2) profile so adding both didn't resolve the issue.

I was able to (I believe) narrow down the issue to key fob use. Every time I had my key fob it switched to my wife's profile, no matter how many times I relinked it. So we swapped physical fobs and so far that seems to be working.
