@Hoff - Any updates on your car or the train shipping your car? I called the dealer today and they told me the train is still in Mexico.
Built - 8/24
Shipped - 9/17
Last update - 9/19 - in a junction in MX

Ford has my delivery window set as 9/22-9/28 but dealer said that realistically it would be 3-4 weeks from today. Looks like the next big milestone for my vehicle is to leave MX and get to the US. 1 month and counting...
@atpaks Yeah, I show the same. To say Ford has failed to impress me with their logistics would be an understatement. Delivery window opened today, but transit time from MX to the northeast is ~2.5 weeks minimum.
Also, that "junction" is Lecheria, the same place our cars have been sitting for a month. They just slapped a new status on it.

Is there documentation on this somewhere? I've seen discussion on this forum of the price protection extending to the financing. But is there some official version I can point to when talking with the dealership? Not expecting to get screwed, but I want to be fully prepared in the moment.

there is a youtube video that a dealer made walking the dearlerships step by step on how to do it. just search price protection mach e. You should be able to find it.

Were you by any chance able to get a railcar number from Ford?

@atpaks thanks to @Vulnox it turns out Ford chat was incorrect and my vehicle checked Laredo on the 23rd. Have your dealer double check their VVR. Doesnt mean it won't bottleneck in KC, but I'll sadly take anything as a win at this point.

That's great to hear. I believe they checked the VCR before providing the update.

Still no update on my VIN in VVR since arriving in Jacksonville, FL by train on 9/16. I have no idea whether it has begun its journey to Orlando.

I'm particularly curious since--if you haven't heard--Florida will be getting some bad weather this week. I really hope, wherever my car is, that it's kept safe from flying debris and rising waters!

I'm particularly curious since--if you haven't heard--Florida will be getting some bad weather this week. I really hope, wherever my car is, that it's kept safe from flying debris and rising waters!

I feel that!. Im worried mineis in a rial yard in Atlanta and will be in the storm.. Hoping it comes and I can get it in the garage by Fri!

Soooo, the dealer just called said they had my car should be ready tomorrow. When talking to them I heard a different person say "that's not her car". Turns out that is wasn't my car she called the wrong person!!!!! That was evil on so many levels.. and I continue to wait. I was so excited.

are you saying you can see ETA on for tracking page? Mine just shows “shipped” but nothing more.

I chatted with Ford Customer Service this morning. I have the same finding when I look at status page. She indicated that since my order was placed directly by the dealer, and not by myself online, that information was NOT going to show up. I only see the dealer indicated. But she was very helpful and shared the rail car it was logged as being on.

She also advised that they only update tracking status on Thursday & Friday. (So my semi-compulsive checking a few times a day is wasted energy...sigh.) And then she kindly delivered the bad news: yes, it was initially set for Sept 27 to Oct 3, but now it is October 26. I will have something to give thanks for in November, I hope.

Thanks for that input. Boo for both of us. Mine according to Ford chat is still sitting in KS. My window of delivery closes tomorrow, still waiting for an update on new ETA window.

Do you know what railcar it was on? Mine was supposed to be delivered between 9/21-27 and today got notice it is being delayed until NOVEMBER 2nd!!! It's already been sitting in KS for a couple weeks, and apparently won't leave there for awhile. No, sorry. That’s all the info they told me. Dealership said they will monitor the situation. My estimate delivery was for 9/27-10/2. (Second time estimate) :(
