I could definitely see damage if it was installed all the way back as you could get 1/2” of clash between the two parts. Hit a bump at lock on an auto toss course or something and I bet there would be a broken component. I’m wondering if Steeda employee was measuring full lock like I was trying to when I was by myself - the wheel turns back 10* or so, and you don’t get an accurate representation of full lock. It definitely gives the appearance of clearance that isn’t there under actual full lock.
I still haven’t gotten my grinder out and paint yet to fix mine. Home alone with 2 kids and 9 horses so I likely won’t be able to get it done until the weekend.
