just received a response from the Oregon DEQ: the manufacturer is required to apply to have their vehicles assessed for eligibility. i've asked for any contact information DEQ may have and will see about contacting Ford for action.

Will be interesting to see how this works for me. When I ordered in February 22' the base msrp price of my Premium AWD ER was $49,100 and final price with options and such was $57815.
I got the sticker a couple of weeks ago and the base msrp is 51800 and final price is still 57815.

is it still a 2022 model? if so, it sounds like you should be ok since it appears they go by model year for the whole model line.

in any case, definitely apply and report back for us still waiting. and waiting. but you know that feeling.

I will try to remember to post back. Currently scheduled for delivery at end of month. I know when I was doing my research at the time of ordering the amount of the federal rebate was based on msrp as I was considering the premium or the GT.

According to the conversation earlier in this thread, I think all models qualify.

The original poster has California Route 1 MME which has a higher MSRP but was still granted the rebate.

Sounds like the base model has to be under 50k and the Select is around 48k.

With that interpretation, any trim model will qualify.

I will be applying for the rebate in December or January when we receive our GTPE.

This is a little trickier since you have to submit an invoice. So it might be automatically approved as a MME but some eagle-eyed processor might flag the claim.

Any chance your dealer is on the approved list to apply the rebate onsite? Otherwise I'd try to talk to the dealer about "fixing" the invoice to match your original order. Might be worth the hassle for $2500 plus they get paid the same amount either way.

My dealer is on the approved list for doing the rebate at delivery. On my '22 ext AWD premium, the original order had the base as Premium and under $50k with AWD as an option. The final invoice/sticker had Premium AWD as the base and was over $50k. Being over $50k base, they did not want to submit for the rebate, but told me to do so myself.

Once I get the registration in a few weeks, I'll submit and then wait the 2ish months to find out. My '21 Route 1, the base MSRP was $49.9K and was approved. My wife's '21 Model Y LR had a base MSRP well over $50k and was also approved (there was a Model Y trim not available for order that was under $50k which must be what the car qualified as).

I should of clarified a bit. I am more concerned about the Federal credit. For the state level credit of $2500 i don't think there is a limit with regards to base model MSRP price. It's the federal that had / has a a base model MSRP restriction of under $50k for the $7500. Like i mentioned, when i was going back and forth between the Premium and GT the credit at federal level was like $5k less between the 2. at the federal level. I didn't keep my spreadsheet after i made my decision, so not 100% sure of that #. I have read mixed message on the Forums here. Some say msrp doesn't matter any more as long as you get possession before end of year. Currently expected end Nov early Dec.

I did keep my email though of where i talked to my dealer about ordering through them vs. Web and the lead time of delivery. I was worried about interest rates increasing between Feb and end of year. They indicated that i should be able to get rates at time of order via their Smart Vincent program which at the time was 2.49% upto 72 months. Hopefully they will honor this as the person I discussed this with is longer with the dealership.

The existing federal $7500 that sunsets this year has no restrictions for either vehicle price or income (they did add the North America assembly requirement which the Mach E satisfies). It's the new legislation kicking in on Jan 1 that has price caps for cars ($50k) and SUVs/Trucks ($80k) as well as income caps $150k/$300k and assembly/sourcing requirements.

The Oregon $2500 does have a $50k base cap.

RE: Oregon rebate. The original poster had a Route 1 the dealership declined to submit for the rebate. The OP submitted it themselves and confirmed they received the rebate despite the Route 1 base MSRP being above the threshold.

Base MSRP seems to be up for interpretation, but no matter what it sounds worthwhile to submit the paperwork and see how things shake out.

Good news, the 2023 model year got added.
The web application is updated as well and took my VIN.
I haven't completed the application yet as I still need to digitize my documents, but it all looks to be working.

nice! i took xmas thru new years off looking for updates and they sneak a surprise in. since i never received any responses from ford or OR DEQ i have no idea if my pestering did any good or not. ?
