Door modules triggering alarms is likely software, ask you dealer to run the door module updates and see if that fixes it. I don't think the modules need to be replaced.
The alarm began setting itself off after they updated all of the door modules for the second time. During the first seven week visit, they updated all the door modules. Then Ford came out with newer updates, so they did them all again with the newest updates before returning the car to me. Within three days the alarm triggered itself twice. They are saying it’s showing as a passenger rear door module. The collaborating Ford engineer told the tech just to replace both rear modules just to be sure. That’s all I know.

OK, I'm saying there is an update that just came out 2-3 days ago, not sure how long ago they did yours. I'm not seeing any door module codes in your history, replacement is just a shot in the dark.

ford is buying back my 2021 Mach e with 26,000 miles for 56k partly because of this issue

ford does not have a permanent fix for the issue nor do they seem invested to actually figuring out a solution.

I’d recommend pursuing lemon law resolutions for anyone still messing around with this
It's looking like I will be heading toward that solution as well. I haven't had my car since September and at this point I have already been looking at other options. I am going to miss my Mach E though. I loved the car..

I guess the update they applied came out 6-7 weeks ago at this point. If they replace modules, they would follow with the most recent update?

Just an update. It was 2 weeks ago that my BlueCruise was finally fixed. At Harrold (Downtown) Ford in Sacramento, CA with the help of remote Ford engineers.

So far, everything is working...perfectly. And I don't use that word lightly. But everything is like new. And a new general update has improved the interface with Android Auto. (I can finally expand the maps to full screen.)

I am VERY aware that many here have had fixes fail again and again. So I remain on high alert, and you all will be the first to know if it does.

In the meantime I want to give a ray of hope to all who are going through this. They may finally be figuring this out at Ford. Just maybe.

Thank you for the update, Steve! I think you are a very lucky man!
After reviewing the documentation you posted on 11/7, I am wondering if you ever received any additional information at all about what they did that might not be included there?

Mine has been at the dealer for 1 week. They just started on it today. Hoping they find a solution. I miss my baby. This is all I have for now when I check my ford pass app.

For what it is worth, here are my service notes for my front camera fault repair. Interesting that they specifically reference testing the coax - so possibility of a faulty cable is definitely on Ford's radar. They replaced my IPMA. I've not had any faults in about a week, but then again the faults were pretty sporadic. I'll report back if another fault occurs...

FAILED IPMA
PERFORM SELFTEST, FOUND DTC #B12BE, B148E, B1385, AND B12BF.
CHECK OASIS, NO TSB OR SSM FOUND. FOLLOW PPT F, F1 ALL

I think the last time I saw this fault message was Nov 7th. I have tried to make it come back by pressing around on the headliner but have been unsuccessful. I was only able to produce the fault message on demand for that one day. After that, I haven't been able to trigger it manually.

At this point I am starting to think I won't see this message until spring 2023.

Same. I just closed my Ford BEV case. No sense in troubleshooting if can’t reproduce.

When it comes back next summer then I'll just buy that harness assembly and change it out myself. Will probably take me about an hour which is better than multiple days or weeks at the dealership.
My warranty has long expired so the cost of this repair comes out of my pocket anyway.

Just had my cables replaced. The tech is driving but to make sure the fault doesn’t appear again. Hopefully, I’ll leave it back tomorrow. This was the 4th trip

After 5 weeks straight in the shop, I should be getting back my GT tomorrow with the new coaxial cables installed! The engineer advised my dealer that a camera harness "may need" to be replaced behind the dashboard. Very likely the headliner coax run is the only wiring part that's faulty. Ford is not giving up! Fingers crossed again.

Hi there! If you're willing to send us a private message with your VIN and dealership information, I'll be happy to see how I can assist on my end.
