The alarm began setting itself off after they updated all of the door modules for the second time. During the first seven week visit, they updated all the door modules. Then Ford came out with newer updates, so they did them all again with the newest updates before returning the car to me. Within three days the alarm triggered itself twice. They are saying it’s showing as a passenger rear door module. The collaborating Ford engineer told the tech just to replace both rear modules just to be sure. That’s all I know.Door modules triggering alarms is likely software, ask you dealer to run the door module updates and see if that fixes it. I don't think the modules need to be replaced.
