You don't need to be registrated with UP to get some updates if you have the railcar number. Call 1-800-877-5123, you have 2 options, follow the prompts for trace and give your rail #, if it doesn't work wait for a rep, they give you limited info but the can tell you where is it at the moment and the estimated ETA. Good luck!

I can't get the UP automated railcar tracing to work for me. Dealer hasn't responded yet. I still don't know if my MME order is still sitting in a KC vicinity railyard or actually moving. Four days left in the current delivery ETA window. I don't think it will make it. Then, if there is a railroad strike starting 12/5/22, I fear this MME won't reach the dealer this tax year. Then I suppose I'll likely join jfire.

Bigfeets, any chance you are on Railcar # TTGX697666? If so, it is expected at destination on 12/3. I am assuming destination is Mira Loma, but cannot be sure. When I called on Sunday, I got 12/2 as the expected arrival date.

The automated wasn't working for me either but after it tells you that it doesn't recognize the railca4 number it gives you the option to talk to a rep, don't remember exactely how but listen to all the options the second time are different

Yes, that's my autorack, per Chat-Elizabeth 11/26. Is it yours, too? Your source of info is Chat? I couldn't tell if it was loaded on 11/24 or departed Muncie, KS on 11/24. My delivery ETA hasn't changed since 11/8. Sadly, Ford has taught me to be skeptical that the long-waited MME will arrive at ramp CH27, Mira Loma this Saturday, not to mention be delivered to the dealer. Eastern Kansas to SoCal (~1600 miles) in nine days? Maybe. (My MME made it from Lecheria to KC in 10 days.) Dealer hasn't gotten around to verifying last Chat report or delivery ETA. What say you?

No updates here.. I think from reading various threads on the forum you/we probably shouldn't hold your/our breath.

Yep, got the train information through Ford chat on Sunday. My dealer seems to think it is on the train as well, so hopefully that is a good sign. He also said if there are no delays, it should arrive at the dealership in 3-5 days after Mira Loma. I will continue to remain a healthy bit skeptical as not to get my hopes to high.

I checked my Ford.com account this morning (11/30 in middle of current delivery window) and lo and behold there is yet another extension of my delivery ETA. If this MME actually makes it to the dealer on the first day of the new delivery window, that will be exactly one year after the order was confirmed, 12/7/21. It will also be 85 days after this MME was built. (And that would be only if there is no rail strike. So, the Senate will determine whether I see an MME in 2022? )

Today is the one year anniversary of my order. They thoughtfully sent me a text further delaying my delivery to 12/20 to 12/27. F them. I keep telling myself to wait it out but it just keeps delaying over and over. 3rd time now. I’m so disgusted I’m about to give up and find something else.

Factors I've considered (which you've probably already thought over many times): If you let go of the order, the dealer will sell it with large markup. Fed tax credit may be reduced 1/1/23, by half. You are allowed to "find something else" before you give up on the order. (I did. After searching options, I bought a better EV last spring because the inflated value of my trade-in offset the dealer markup.) Ford''s repeated unexplained extensions and lousy communication are very poor treatment of the "end user which engender bad feelings for the company, but not necessarily the MME. (One year of free charging at Electrify America would sooth the frustrated end user, but not likely to happen.) Lastly, refuse to give up my order until it's clear I won't get the Fed tax credit or the dealer fails to honor the price protection and no-ADM promises.

Well I called ford today and was given an actual NS rail car number. It has changed to rail from a previous Jack Cooper Transport number. As of last night it was in Bellview, OH. Maybe that’s progress? At least it’s on a car headed to me now in VA!
