Doesnt mean its the final number though If they can improve via OT A those numbers can still change before OKTB at which point they would have no choice but to give the final EPA numbers.
Hope so before OKTB. Was already counting on a likely OTA improvement later on top of the 300, like Tesla, getting us to ~320.

~320 after OTA is looking unlikely now though.

On a more real world note, for ICE cars you can find people reporting fuel-ups and actual mileage on fuelly.com

Is there a similar site for community-driven fuel-ups (power-ups? Recharges?) and actual mileage?

Fwiw, I prefer kWh/100km. It's easier to compare efficiency with ICE cars (L/100km).
Umm, other than scientists and nerds* everyone in the US measures everything in ancient british units. Thus gas car fuel efficiency is measured as miles per gallon, thus the creation of the miles per gallon EQUIVALENT for electric cars.

Sure, but Canadians are capable of understanding that everything is based on factors of 10. Boston matt and the rest of us here in the US can only comprehend multiplying by arbitrary factors like 12, 5280, 128, etc.

Wow. Things are sure different in MA than they are in MD. We buy gas by the gallon ;)
It kills me that we haven't gone metric yet.

The UK is a little mixed. But only two other countries haven't adopted the metric system — Liberia and Myanmar.

Come on my fellow Americans!! ??????

I have no idea what he wrote since I've blocked him but anyone thinking they really drive 4-5 hours between charging stops is probably full of s**t (and p**s).
We typically drive 3-4 hours per leg now. But not 5.

I'm willing to shrink that and stop more often in the MME... up to a point. 250 0-100% AWD would be 175 10-80. Take maybe 20% off at 75 MPH and we're down to 140. Apply that to charger spacing and might mean stops in the 70-120 mile range.

Some won't mind that, others not so much.

Since a President tried to enforce converting to it, as a people we had to stand up for our constitutional right to use stupid measurement schemes.
it was a voluntary measure, and some industries were willing to do it and some weren't - it's why we have 2 liters of soda pop but a gallon of milk. The milk folks actually were one of the biggest problems.

True story: 25+ years ago my brother bought a house with oil heat. He was sure it had a 175 gallon tank. When his oil company charged him for over 200 gallons he measured a gallon milk carton (with handle) and confirmed his belief that the tank couldn't hold that much. He called them up and had them pump out the oil and watched the meter go over 200 as they did so. Confounded he had me measure the tank. I measured the area of the tank end in square centimeters, and of course the width in centimeters as well. With the volume in liters I converted to gallons to confirm that indeed he had a >200 gallon tank. I don't remember the exact value, but it matched how much oil the company said they put in - and then took out.

The moral of the story: metric works
The second moral of the story: the handle cutout of a gallon jug wastes more space than you think
