tracking a shipping from a dealer order?

I found a dealer order that is now fully built and as of today "shipped". Is there any way to track the shipment progress on such an order? I have called the dealer and they said they would contact me when it arrives, but I'd prefer to know myself for sure. I don't want to keep asking them if it has arrived as that would probably signal to them I'm impatient and might be willing to pay more.

Those of us who ordered through a dealer were able to call Ford Service. If you have the VIN number you might be able to get that info from Ford Service, but if your name is at not attached to the order, probably not.

Have their sales manager run a VIN View report - it uses real time GPS location tracking.

If yours is still in KC, MO then better buckle up for a long wait.

Mine has been in KC, MO ramp 59 for over a month not to mention is had sat in Mexico for 3 months in Lecheria, MX.

It is not his order. He wants to track a dealer order which I do not think he can do himself and he does not want to make the dealer aware that he is interested so just in case they would then add a mark up.

I live in central Illinois - important for story humor below.
Ford notified me through a status message that my MME shipped. Nothing more. A couple days later a Ford customer service representative placed the MME in Elkhart, IN. It had to travel through Illinois but did not offload. At this time Ford pushed the delivery date out a month, so I freaked out thinking my MME was heading to the east coast which is why Ford pushed out the date.
I called my dealer who could not track it. Next day the dealer tells me it is in their parking lot.

Main point: The shipping process is certainly not straightforward, nor does Ford provide timely, accurate information.

Ford has been reluctant as well as my dealer to tell me why it's taking so long.
They both keep harping on the same thing for the past 5 months: "it's in transit".

Others who had the same build date (12/5/22) already received theirs.

At this point, I am not looking forward to picking up my 54 week ordered MME even if it has a '22 pricing.
