Ford picked up my car on Monday for state inspection, to look at the sound coming from the rear when I make turns (there’s a bulletin on that), to replace all the wipers, and to update all the modules (for those who’ve been following my frunk whining, this is it).
This afternoon, around 4:30 PM, the dealer called to let me know that they’d be installing the new suspension (?) components tomorrow, finalize the inspection, and that then get my car back. They made a point of telling me that they’d spent the day with the car on FDRS, doing all the updates.
This evening, around 7:00 PM, I get a message in FordPass that 4.2.5 was successfully installed. What gives? I thought PowerUps didn’t deploy if the modules had been manually updated via FDRS?
