Note that the production decrease was due to using limited parts availability (HV heater) in current cars affected by a defect, rather than using the parts in new cars. This is how you handle customer satisfaction and Ford should have done the same with the HVBJB.

This is why I will likely be getting a Macan EV when my ford options is up - I will trust the customer service (both manufacturer and dealer) better than Ford, even though I love my Mach E.

I don’t see it as league, but agreed. Apples and oranges. But customer satisfaction and retention is important no matter what kind of car (or any product) you produce. Also from what I understand, Ford used the Macan as a model for the Mach e (and of course Tesla).

1. You're giving Porsche a lot of credit for this when they probably had no other choice but to replace. The heater was also used to regulate temperature of the batteries.

2. The service bulletin dated 1 April said it was limited to 57 vehicles. They're blaming that on a 73% decline in deliveries from Q4?

The Achilles heel of Ford is the dealership network. It's amazing to see how clueless they are about electric cars.

Clueless? Perhaps willful ignorance

Having dealt with BMW sales on multiple occasions, I can assure you that a “premium brand” does not equate to a “premium experience”. I’ve been to our local BMW dealer several times over the years, usually with people who could point at pretty much anything on the lot and write a check without thinking twice. Their sales strategy seems to be to stand around in poorly tailored knockoff European clothing, pointedly ignoring potential customers until they leave. If you’re able to force once of them to acknowledge your presence, all they want to do is harvest your information so that they can “reach out to you at a less busy time to schedule a one-on-one consultation.” Oh, and a buddy of mine who moved to the area with his 5 series told me the service experience was no better when he took it there - and he was comparing it to a major BMW dealer in Orlando, known for incompetence.
In all fairness, I should note that a bunch of us have gotten a similar “bum’s rush”-type treatment from the local Tesla “dealer”, so this could be somewhat localized.

Please!!!
German, Japanese, etc. automobile manufacturers have been able to circumvent the dealership hinderances for decades. Sure you pay more for them initially and for rare repairs, but you "get what you pay for".
Cadillac, the choice of pimps and drug dealers, has tried to mimic the foreign car dealership model, but the Cadillac is still a piece of junk which costs far too much to maintain (failure by design, the American way).
Ford and the other American manufacturers have not and do not incorporate customer satisfaction into their business plan. Their goal is and always has been to design cars that look good for the moment. Easy to do still w/ the likes of Tesla.
Please!! Comparing Ford to Porsche?

And yet Cadillac and Chevrolet are near the top of the customer satisfaction list……
