Out of Spec Review did an incredibly long, interesting, and full on geek mode video of a tour of ChargePoint with details on hardware engineering, testing, planning, and company perspectives on all of it. It is VERY long so I definitely suggest watching it in bites but the whole thing was very interesting.

Inside ChargePoint - Full Tour Of Hardware Engineering, Test Laboratories, & Product Portfolio

This is actually a very useful video. It has helped me mentally prepare for this Summer's road trip across the USA. Thank you for posting it.

If I could’ve read to the end of your post, I’ll bet I’d know how long your attention span is. ;)

It is long, but after the intro fluff it was fascinating enough to keep me watching. It was really refreshing to see the absolute attention to detail which is critical for reliability and maintainability.

They really seem to get it.

agreed. the vertical integration and modular components across all the products was very impressive and well designed. the reliability testing was next level.

it will be interesting to see how well they compete for NEVI installations. i mostly see their chargers in small public space locations but my exposure has been casual observation so far as i await my MME arrival.

Of the five charging networks that I'm a member of, ChargePoint has IMHO:
- the most informative charging app
- BY FAR the most helpful, driver-oriented, enthusiastic help line.
- in my experience, the least / fewest broken DC charging points.

In order of quality driver-oriented helpline interaction, they are:

- ChargePoint (how can we help?)
- EvGateway
- EVgo (you do it our way)
- ElectrifyAmerica (you want help?)
- Flo (bleeech)

nice - looking forward to checking them out on my summer travels too. i didn't end up getting their HomeFlex charger but having a single app for home and at least one charging network would have been a plus.
