My dealer told me the first thing they do after it rolls off the carrier is plug it in. Then they start on the prep.
I think they might have for a few minutes, but since I was headed there for financing, they pulled it to detail, etc. No big deal - there's a DCFC down the street from my office.
Do you know what update your car is on? I'm wondering if it'll be ages before we get updates or if dealers will catch us up. I'm sure it depends on dealers, and whether we give them time with the vehicles or not. haha
I would like to think they are delivered with the latest updates. Perhaps that's naive.

Same here for a 4/3/2023 build week. I went from May delivery to sometime in June. I didn't think it would take 60+ days from shipped to delivery.
That makes more sense, might be waiting for a chip. Doesn't make sense for it to take a month just to truck it 30miles.
It appears they come updated - or at least mine says there are no available updates. I have looked in the car, in the app, and in my online account, and can't find which version I have. All I can find is SYNC 4.
I have heard this is something that was happening. I heard from my dealer that he is showing expected delivery between May 28th and June 5th, which towards the end of the original estimate.
