I'm confused about the mobile charger. Even though I have new pricing on the window sticker and I am not expecting it to be included, the "built" email from ford and the ford customer guide say it's standard with the vehicle. Go figure

My timeline for those who might be trying to figure out what theirs may be:
2/6/23 - ordered online
2/11 - orded accepted by dealer (this is the date Ford shows as my order date)
3/23 - received email for build week of 5/15 (seems these go out on Thursdays)
5/12 - window sticker generated
5/18 - status changed to "in production"
5/20 - modules populated
5/22 - build complete

estimated delivery date is currently 6/17 - 6/23, to Northeastern PA. Highly doubt I'll get it this early based on other users experiences, but will be thrilled if I did.

for those of us with builds in May, 2 questions......how long after "car is built" has your car been shipped...... and.......once shipped, about how long to delivery (if it helps, shipped to NJ, Northeast)......

it might be that none of us with this approx. build week (in May) has gotten this far......

Mine was built on 5/20, and estimated delivery to Florida is 6/29-7/4... I think those dates will be updated when the car ships. The cool thing is I can already see the car in my FordPass app. I haven't tried to activate it though.

The variance in ship times from posts in these forums leaves me with no idea when I might be able to take delivery. Could be 6 weeks, could be 6 months. Makes it difficult to know when to apply for 3rd party financing and obtain 3rd party pricing on my existing car. Would prefer to know going into the dealership to finalize that I already have a good finance rate and a good price on my trade in and be able to avoid talking numbers with the people at the dealership if they can't beat what I already have.

By the way, I got a response from my dealer today that despite the new price, the vehicle will be delivered "as ordered", so the mobile charger is still included.

That's good to know about the charger. I could see my dealer pulling it out to try and sell it to me separately. Especially after the GT I test drove back in February was priced at an astonishing $81k after they added their markup on top of it.

Yeah I don't trust dealers either. The most expensive mach-e on my dealer's website is over 85k MSRP, while the window sticker says 67k. I have no idea how they can justify such crazy markup

They're still adding ADM on the ones here, too. (I didn't look at the others on my dealer's lot, so can't speak for their pricing). And, it seems the only thing available are GT and GTPE, unless there's a rare order a customer declined.

The only thing I can think of is if they get you in the chair, they have some wiggle room to make you feel like you're getting a good deal.

I ordered from them even though my online order price has $7k added. I called them the next day and they said they'd remove the ADM and that it "was a mistake". I told my salesman that unless I got a buyers order listing at MSRP I was canceling the order. 2 days later I got the buyers order at MSRP.

I'm still expecting shenanigans at delivery. I have no problem walking though, even after waiting so long.

I had totally forgotten, but the dealer closer to me DID have either $5k or $10k added when I priced my order for delivery to them last fall. The dealer I went with did NOT have that - and I was going to order with them anyway, because I have known someone there for many years. I think it actually said "dealer markup" or something - was pretty transparent, I'll give them that!

I have a question re: Blue Cruise 1.2

When I ordered this I do not remember seeing a payment option for BlueCruise 1.2. The window sticker also doesn't say its a 90 day trial.

However, on the order status page, when I click on the "Accessories" section I see "Prep Package". What does that mean? I am confused to whether I am getting BlueCruise, if it is included for 3 years, or if it is merely a 90 day trial. Any thoughts?

I think these are system generated, and may or may not apply to your order. I don't remember the timeline, but I got one of these during the build process, and it didn't mean anything. Guessing you'll see a built email in the next few days.
