I have a '21 and a '23. The '21 is in Early Access. The '21 did get 4.2.6 today. The '23 did not but ... to be fair, I didn't actually drive the '23 today. I'll use it tomorrow and see (the '23 is not in Early Access).

4.2.6 broke my ability to charge.
Mine just did the usual post PowerUp ā€œIgnore the charge settings and charge to 100%ā€ thing. No charging capability at all Joe?

Finally got 4.2.6 today. Failed 3 install attempts at home. Successfully installed while at the grocery store ?ā€ā™‚

I got 4.2.6 on Tuesday afternoon, and then Tuesday night I spent over an hour trying to get the car to charge. It would charge for about 2 minutes then give the red ring of death and stop charging. I finally ended up rebooting my ChargePoint home flex and that seemed to get it to charge. I got home from work yesterday, plugged in, and got the same behavior except that rebooting the ESVE didn’t help. I’m heading to the dealership this morning as soon as they open… will update y’all as information comes in. I’m just glad in retrospect I didn’t get the update sooner as I was on a 1200 mile road trip until Tuesday. I literally got the update the minute I got into my driveway.

I have read of that problem before; not due to this update but in general. Thinking it is not the grizzl-e chargers fault this time.

It may make sense to turn auto updates off prior to leaving on any extended trips. At least you know what you are leaving with and that should not change. Hope your dealer knows exactly what is up and fixes it quickly. Keep us informed.

i am relatively sure it’s not the grizzl-e’s fault this time as I have a ChargePoint HomeFlex. ?

This has been my go to method of correcting the persistent guest profile. When able give it a try and see if it works.
Creating a temporary profile and then deleting it worked. I am able to select my profile now. I deleted the temporary profile so we will see if the problem comes back. I suspect it will not.

BTW - I received the DCFC OTA last night and it did not fix the Guest profile issue. I thought it might reset something, but it did not. So I did the fix described above.

Update:

took the car to the dealership, and dropped it off with the battery at 56%. Went to wait for a couple people to come in to work so I could hopefully get a loaner car. After about 90 minutes, found that the car ā€œis charging here, but also threw a code for a bad charge portā€. They are ordering parts, but didn’t have any vehicles due to the holiday weekend. I took the car back so I can go to work, and will be using a free DCFC near my house to charge it (again, hopefully) so I can get to work while waiting on parts. When I got the car back, it, after ā€œcharging hereā€ for 90 minutes, was at 56%. So… I don’t think it actually charged there.

I’m hoping that the DC pins on the port are fine and it’s only the 240v pins that are causing the problem. I’ll know more about that this evening when I try to DCFC.

This is the part that has me concerned… they mad changes to the charge port, and now I can’t charge.

I wonder if the next OTA will fix your problem? It says it is for DCFC, but maybe it will change something that helps you.

Is this effecting your charging at home or DCFC. I know the update was for DCFC.

So far, I haven’t tried DCFC since the issue popped up. It has affected my level 2 charging at home.
