- 2022 CA Rte1 RWD, Space White
Latest on my 2023 Premium eAWD Ext Vapor Blue Metalic, light grey interior order.
12/27/2022: Dealer places order
4/11/2023: Production started
4/15/2023: MachE Built
5/02/2023: MachE Shipped
5/14 - 5/18/2023 estimated delivery
5/18/2023: Shipping update: Rail location: Junction Point in Corpus Christy, TX (Ford CS Chat)
5/23/2023: Arrives Dealer (SF Bay Area)
Now the hard part: does it still pencil out to sell my current MY22 MachE (CA RT1 RWD, 8k miles, still financed) and pickup the new Premium?
Given the drop in used car values this year, the lower federal rebate, and California pausing EV subsidies (CCFR rebate), the financial impact is a lot different than when I ordered last year.
Does anyone know what SmartVincent financing and incentives were available in December 2022?
I do wonder if I should just wait a couple of years and keep driving the RWD or look at buying a used MY22 Premium eAWD ext. battery model or waiting until 2025 for the mid-cycle refresh or the new three-row SUV that Farley just promised will have 350 miles of range (300 miles at 70 mph): https://insideevs.com/news/668467/ford-three-row-electric-suv-coming-2025-350-miles-range/
Am I the only one in this dilemma?
