What's new in this version?
Update was done just after letting the car at the dealer. I received the alert on Fordpass.
Due to severals damages due to the tornado we have, I should retrieve it in at least 2 months (more than 10000€ of reparation)

MY2022 and now I have received all the OTA updates in Power-Up 3 series.

Just before the updates started, HVBJB failed. Some time after the service and after the first software update, I noticed that my car has now preconditioning while navigating to the charger, not sure if it is a result from the service (unknown if they updated some module software at the same time with HVBJB change) or the first OTA update did that. Anyway, happy to see that working.

Hi Miikka
Great news - might I ask how you noticed preconditioning in our climate/season?

Looking forward to a better charging experience in the coming winter ☃⚡

The weather in Finland/Sweden/Denmark has been a bit cold in some of the recent weeks and battery has been sitting in temperatures below 26°C, so every time I enter the charger into the navigation then about 30 kilometers before arrival, the PTC will get on and starts heating the battery.

And I did also the similar tests like American colleagues did, if I cancel the navigation to the charger, the PTC will go to 0 kW immediately. If I enter the navigation again ... it will go up.

Happened so many times that it is confirmed multiple times now. Also made sure that E-Heat is off (the cabin wasn't actually even warmed in this "summer" weather) so it was definitely just battery heating. Monitored all of this with CarScanner, it won't be visible anywhere else.

Also the battery temperature will rise quite rapidly now in the summer weather once the PTC is on so you can definitely see the change, interesting to see how it works when the winter weather is here and we are experiencing freezing temperatures.

Looks very good for the upcoming winter.

Interesting, that wasn't in the 3-series for the US. Full screen AndroidAuto, fogging fixes and preheating before DCFC are the essential features I was missing. If they are all there I'll only nag on replacing the IPC.

I'll monitor the PTC on my way back home from vacation!

Wasn't it in 3.6.2 - they just didn't announce it until 4.3.4?

Might be, but EU stopped at 3.5.4.2?
So you might have it because of other updates due to the issues you had? I'll check when going on a trip in a few days.

You are correct, I cannot be sure where it originated in my case. Too many changes almost same time.

My logic was that European software versions seem to be roughly same kind of content but at the same time different version numbers somewhat so maybe they have included the change in any case.

Your test results would be good to get in case you have access to OBD data.

The precondition update would have been nice, but as the PowerUp's go in Europe, I do not think it will come on OTA this year.

After some weeks of silence, my Mach-E was updated to 3.5.4 yesterday and today 3.5.4.2 was installed.
