Ok, I waited 15 months from reservation to delivery, and mine had to cross half the Pacific Ocean to get here. Your saga has gone from absurd to beyond unacceptable.
My prediction says it will go on for another month. IDK wtf is going on currently beyond fed up with this shit.

Well my 14 month wait is not that bad now that I look back, even with it derailing in the midwest during transport.

At least Ford was nice enough to fast track / hotshot my replacement and kick in extra PCO money for the delay.

I am very happy with my '23 MME....

No offence against the car, I know its worth it in the end. But the patience level keep rising and overthinking "what if even after two months they don't have the car and eventually tell me it exploded so all this for nothing" such thoughts are killing me now and Ford is testing at my best.

No offence against the car, I know its worth it in the end. But the patience level keep rising and overthinking "what if even after two months they don't have the car and eventually tell me it exploded so all this for nothing" such thoughts are killing me now and Ford is testing at my best.
This sucks. I miss the days of being able to go to a dealership, test drive a car, and be able to take home a car that is more or less what you want (albeit maybe shopping more than one dealer if you are more particular about a feature). This waiting 9-15+ months for a car sucks for everyone, with many people giving up waiting because they need a car, dealers with abandoned order cars that might not match with what they wanted to sell, and Ford's reputation suffering. Hopefully the transport truck for your car brings it in to the dealership soon and in pristine shape.

I'll be interested in seeing if my gtpe which is building this week is delayed. I figure around 45 days or so. My 21 back in may 21 took around 30 days to deliver once built.

Well long story will brief as much as I can. I ordered my car on April 21st 2022. My order was accepted on 9 September 2022. My car was built on March 21 and Shipped on March 22. It travelled from Mexico to Texas to its final destination Ramp 6R in Kansas. From April 8th its collecting precious much needed dust at the Ramp. My first delivery window was April 22-April 28, my second ETA was May 17-May 30, my third ETA was May 26- June 1, my fourth ETA was May 27 - June 2, my fifth ETA was May 31 - June 6,my sixth ETA was June 6 - June 9,my seventh ETA was June 9 - June 16, ninth ETA was June 14- June 19, 10th ETA was June 27th to 3 July. Had and continue to have more ETAs by my 10th one I stopped counting. Ever since my car is built I contacted Ford Chat on every new ETA just to hear it will be there between X and Y date. After my 3rd ETA I was done so I contacted Elena Ford (Ford Chief Customer Experience Officer). I wrote her 1 email a week, She didn't responded and it had 3 emails meaning 3 weeks. I went on Reddit MME to complain and share my story wallah 30 minute in that post I get a call from Executives office Canada. I thought the assistant from the phone would help me but she gave me no reason for delays because she didn't had any information and promise to give me an update in a week. Didn't got her call for weeks so I contacted JIM AZZOUZ,JIM FARLEY and DAVE BOZEMAN. All of them have the same assistant working and she did give me a call but it wasn't any different then previous call. Except the part she did updated me within a week this time. She called me on 26th June that my car is finally on a railcar to Canada, it was all this late due rail shortages. They fast tracked my car. My car left Kansas on 27th June was here on 5th July. My dealer said could be here any day. That any day still isn't here. OH btw some worth mentioning details. I did contacted my dealer and questioned him first but his response was they have the same tracker as me but they see some updates that I don't and nothing else. My area manager also called Ford before I did no update from them .I did all my paper work for car in June because we believed it would arrive, we also got charger installed in May, I have a box full of car accessories since May. I even got insurance few weeks ago because my insurance agent was going on Holiday till September. I have been on total of 5 long trips since I ordered my car. And I just checked the tracker the last updated date just updated to 2 August. So it could actually show up to the dealer finally but now I am on holiday and won't be back till September so my dealer will be holding the car for me.

And my small dealer has 3 GTs in stock now and another 3 GTs on the way that they did not order and actually really don't want to sell since they didn't sign up to continue to sell EVs after 31 Dec.

Ford sent them anyway. All GTs (which is interesting in itself). I did recently buy the GT-PE they got in. That one wasn't ordered either, just showed up. So this whole thing of ordering a MME and then having to wait a year, given the recent flood of stock showing up everywhere seems pretty ridiculous doesn't it? And it make the OPs current circumstances even more outrageous.

The fact that anyone has to wait on an order is crazy. FORD is all over the place with MME Cost, MSRP and delivering actual orders of people that want the car and will advocate for the Car. Makes no F'ing sense!!!

Given that it's taken so long to get to you, don't be surprised if there's a lot of software updates that are available, that you've missed out on so far. You might ask the dealership if they'd update them given the hassle you've been through waiting for this car to arrive. Also, don't be surprised if you end up with 12V battery problems and it needs to get replaced sometime in the near future.

Also, don't be surprised if you end up with 12V battery problems and it needs to get replaced sometime in the near future.
Bro I had lots of time researching on OTA updates and 12v maintenance. I already mentioned both things to my dealer I told him to check the 12v batteries since its been at those ramps for so long and update it prior to delivery. He said he will make sure of that, also I am on vacation won't be back until September so he will have lots of time to fix these issues and there are only 2 updates my car might have missed since it was built in March not too many updates since then.

it's tough to keep with all the price changes and such. My first mache was straightforward may 21, msrp with xplan.

I already mentioned both things to my dealer I told him to check the 12v batteries since its been at those ramps for so long and update it prior to delivery. He said he will make sure of that, also I am on vacation won't be back until September so he will have lots of time to fix these issues and there are only 2 updates my car might have missed since it was built in March not too many updates since then.

I was also in the same position - had vacation planned when it was delivered and the dealer held onto it until I returned 3 weeks later.

I had asked them to update and charge to 100% while I was on vacation.

Since I had Ford Pass app actually monitoring it, I noticed they were having issues charging it during PDI.

When I contacted the salesperson, he said service dept has been having issues with charging.

I got very concerned that it would say "plugged in - not charging" many times almost every day.

The service dept would drive it around, then plug in but no dice.

When I got back from vacation, on my way to the dealer, the sales person was worried that I might not take the MME so he drove it to the front of the dealership to a customer EV charger and voila - charge initiated and completed.

Saved the sale!
