Is there a way to get this car to update? I think I’m on 2.7.1. Been to the dealers a few times and they give me the car back a few days later saying it’s fixed. Best I can tell my last update OTA or otherwise was May ‘22. Should I try and charge the 12v battery manually? Should I try a master reset? Any assistance would be appreciated. Below is what I see on the system updates screen:

Something is stuck. The dealer will need to push some module(s) through via FDRS. You could try contacting the BEV team as I'd assume you don't even have a functioning Blue Cruise, which has a campaign to 'finish' installing. it.

Typically, dealers will only update modules that have active CSP's or recalls that they see in FDRS. If you want other modules updated, need to describe specific problems you are having with the car that a module update will fix. It's a big pain to do this. I didn't get any updates for 8 months due to an outdated module. Ford support said the problem could only be resolved by a full module software update at the dealer. Initially, the dealer wouldn't even call Ford to confirm this. After escalating the issue to the GM/Owner, the dealer agreed to update all modules. I confirmed the updates by someone on this forum that has FDRS.

The week after the module updating, I got 3 OTA updates from Ford. I'm sure all the updates did was update the servers that the modules were up to date. Now I'm just waiting for the update that puts the Frunk button on the sync screen and Ford Pass app.

BTW, I did get case numbers from both the BEV Team and Ford Customer Support, but never received any call backs from either group.

Thanks. Looks like I’m headed back to the dealer. Maybe I can convince them to do a full module software update.

Call the Ford customer service line ( 800-392-3673 ) and ask for the Battery EV team to get a case number started before you go back to the dealer.

That case number and contact from Ford corporate will then put pressure on the dealer to fix the situation.

Sounds like the dealer is blowing you off (probably because it's time-intensive for them) and it might be the only way you'll get it fixed.
