So cute!! Sorry about Muggle. It's so hard. He did look like he almost had Harry Potter glasses. I still have an chihuahua, she's 13 next month, but she doesn't go for car rides, as she HATES it. Surprisingly she likes Tater Tot.

Muggle hated car rides! I have a clip of him somewhere just barking continuously as we drove him to the vet. So much fun!

Our friends ended up adopting him and changed his name to Alister. He is still adorable but even more floofy! (And our friends that adopted him are getting married next week!) We would have adopted him ourselves but Muggle was really struggling with health issues at the time.

Liv kept the Muggle name since she is a Harry Potter fan. Unfortunately, he passed early last year due to those health problems just as he turned 15.

Such a pretty boy. I have always had chihuahuas, I got 2 mini labradoodle puppies (now 3 and 4yo, when my chihuahuas passed), I gotta say after having the doodles, I could never go back to a shedding dog again. I decided I needed a little guy, so I just got my toy Poodle 2 weeks ago. I can't believe how smart he is. He was potty trained in like a day. He gets along fine with his much bigger doodle brother and sister.

I have a feeling there are lots of animal lovers on this forum.

Hey Joseph, Riley is a white lab and she is also a female. It was the name she was given from the breeder and I didn't change it. Besides I like the name a lot.

Dog fur???? I've had labs all my life and yes, I don't think there is a dog that sheds more than they do. You absolutely cannot have any carpet in the cargo area because it is very difficult to vacuum the fur off. In the photo with Riley ( #4 ), I originally had CanvasBack canvas covered seat backs, cargo floor and sides to cover the carpet. While it worked much better than the carpet, it still was not as easy as I liked to remove the fur. I left the Canvas Back quarter panel sides but replaced the seat backs and cargo floor with the AOSK rubber protector mats. They clean up easier and are more heavy duty for when I go to Lowe's for stuff.

Also, you should get a Fur EEL vacuum attachment. It cleans up fur better than any other attachment I've used. I got mine with the Dyson attachment for my vacuum. https://www.amazon.com/Buff-Brite-Fur-EEL-Attachment-attachment/dp/B08RQDMTKJ?th=1

What the cargo area looks like now with the AOSK rear seat and cargo floor mat (Kong dog bed is on top of the floor mat) and CanvasBack quarter panel carpet covers. I also have a CanvasBack bumper extension that I unfold when Riley jumps in and out of the car in case she misses and scratches the bumper with her paws. It protects it so that would never happen.

CKC or AKC G.Ch? The rules are a little different, but in a nutshell, they complete their Championship, then continue to show. They have to defeat enough other finished Champions of your breed or variety in order to rack up points. Rack up enough points, and you get the G.Ch. title. There are levels of Grand Champions as well, attained by defeating more and more dogs. I’m a little fuzzy on the details since my hands-on showing was with Howie and Rowdy, before the G.Ch. schemes were created. Grady came to me as a G.Ch. ??
