Currently sitting on the side of the freeway. Complete HVB failure with "stop safely now" and "service soon" messages. Let the car sit for a bit but it's shot. Hour wait for a tow in 90+ degree heat. They are going to tow it to the dealer.

As you may know, there are several possible failures here. Before jumping to conclusions first let's see what codes are stored and that will point to the cause of failure. No matter what the problem, I know it really sucks to be stuck on the side of the road, especially in this kind of heat.

P0AA2 positive contactor stuck open, you'll need a new HVBJB. You got this code on the 14th, not sure how you were able to drive it this week?

It's already too late for that. Though I'm not sure any of the current class action suits could be described as "giant".

I will keep updating this thread but the advisor was blown away I knew the code and confirmed it as well. I told him I would be calling BEV when he calls me for the diagnostic report and he said "that's what I was going to tell you to do"

I will keep updating this as I learn more. He said it would be about two weeks. Thanks for the guidance.

wanted to add in that this was a pretty scary experience. 70mph on a major SoCal freeway with a jolt and loss of power. Glad I was able to get over.
