Non-EV vehicles taking up chargers

I found a post today with someone mounting a wall charger plate onto their vehicle so they wouldn't have to pay for parking. What are your thougts, and maybe you can throw your comments in with mine!

Incentivizing free anything because someone owns an EV is wrong.

Parking in a parking spot for charging EVs when not charging is wrong.

Both are wrong. Stop giving free shit to people because they own an EV and broke college students won't find ways to do stupid crap like this.

If it's a pay lot, they should pay for parking whether charging or not.

In the post they say its $250 for a parking permit. I'm guessing since its charging stations and visitors and people in the surrounding area would want to use these, they don't make people get permits to charge.

I agree. The child in me laughed when I saw it because it's ingenious and creative. $7.99 vs $250 a month. Gotta give credit where it's due.

It's such an easy problem to fix, anyone using the parking lots pays, done. Not shocked that the kids out smarted the educators.

Remember when handicap parking came out? Once it became a fine and towable it stopped overnight. Local municipalities need to make a law simular to handicap spots.

I was born 30 years after handicap parking so no I don't remember.

It's not as if no one uses dead Grandma's handicap plaque 5 years after she's gone. It's still a problem.

EV owners shouldn't be entitled to free parking when everyone else has to pay. We aren't special. Enforcement wouldn't be needed if it wasn't free. Eliminate the root of the problem.
