PowerUp Rollout:
Phase. 1: Internal (Ford Employee) testing
Phave 2: Early Access Program
Phase 3: General customers

Remember that issues identified at any phase may either result in bug lists to be fixed in a future PowerUp or may cause a PowerUp to be paused or pulled, rewritten, and started back at Phase 1.
So they're doing every incremental update in 3 phases? Holy smokes, it'll be months before we see BC 1.3 functional.

5.1.1 had a very bad bug where it turned off some Connectivity stuff and they did not pause that rollout to Non-EA. I'm genuinely wondering if there is even a process for EAP or what the threshold is to pause something for Non-EA rollout.

And therefore could well be after the BC trial extension is scheduled to end on 31 December this year for many of us...

I am wondering when the next update is coming, I actually would have expected it already to hit EA people... but I guess thats too much to expect with how slow the BC 1.3 rollout has been

Slow? Slow would indicate its rolled out to fokes, I don't think anyone has 1.3 but other then maybe 23.5 Mach-E's. As far as OTA updates, I don't think that's pushed even to EA fokes, if I am wrong, link the post as I'd be interested.

They don't have to wait for #3 General Roll Out for everyone to finish before starting on #1 internal or #2 EAP of the next OTA.

They come in waves. So I would think if we're seeing the general roll out of 6.1.0, then the next OTA should be along very soon for EAP.

Yeah hopefully thats the case, in the past usually the EAP for the next update starts before the general rollout of the first one. Anyway, heres hoping BC 1.3 rolls out before end of Oct

Got 6.1.1 today EA application still pending. This is the first I’ve gotten an update so fast after it’s been released to EA members.

Mine is still stuck on "Not Complete". ?ā€ā™‚
I had that with one update, brought to my dealer and they cleared it out and did whatever updates were available.

of course my last update was the Rad one from 8/16/23

Worst case, that’s what I will do. There’s a bit of a wait for the only ev tech at the only dealer on this rock. Currently, a dealer ev tech visit would occur sometime when we’re close to or have already celebrated a very major holiday. ;)

I’m not particularly worried about it. The car isn’t broke. The Not Competed update did not do anything other than leave an annoying message in the software update settings area. ;)

I had a not complete several updates ago. It went away after the next update.
