NDA? What's that?
It's amazing the mental gymnastics people will go to so they can convince themselves they didn't violate a Non Disclosure Agreement.

Hope you all had fun while it lasted.

I'd like to point out just a couple of things here:

1) The first power up for MME was just about two years ago, and for every update Ford's process has been the same: release to EA in waves, then general release some number of weeks later (unless the rollout is cancelled). In my recollection every single time a new update has been rolled out, an EA member has started a thread (or two ?). Ford has even gotten feedback about the updates from said threads. Seems silly to me that this is being brought up just now.

2) In the last few months as an EA member I've been notified of a few things with an explicit NDA attached. For the most part, with one notable exception which I'm not going to mention here, people are following that NDA. I've not seen any chatter about those things. People do follow that. So yes, I've seen a few NDAs cross my inbox for beta participation. But none of them have ever been related to a power up. Much less a power up that's part of a series publicly announced by Ford themselves on this forum.

In the future, should Ford Attach an NDA to a power up, I'm sure there will be no threads discussing the matter.

I just got PowerUp 6.2.0 and I am not in the EA Program nor under an NDA.
Since you are not in the EA program and you are talking about an update you will now have your car taken away for violating your terms of purchase. ;)

Dumb question. I've had my '23 MME GT for about a month now. Only a few days ago (Oct 5th), did I receive Power Up 4.2.1... However, some of the features that I see listed here (let's say for example ' In-Vehicle Voice Feedback') which is marked as 4.2.4 I already had prior to that update. Just trying to make sense of the versioning and ordering that things happen?
Good luck been trying for years and can not figure out even what was so great to go from 5.1 to 6.1. Must have something to do with a GWM? We should be into double digits soon with not too much of a change.

It can get confusing if you get your vehicle updated at a ford service center as it will not show the power-up but some of it may have got installed. You may then skip a power-up and not get one until further down the road. You may get one and then a previous one. It is all kind of random.

Well I can think of 2 rebuttals

1) those of us who have job 1 21 builds still get the chance at $600 for 3 years, which I personally will likely do
2) even if you don't pay for blue cruise, hands on lane centering still works for free and benefits from the improved stability of 1.3 (for example, less ping pong madness)
I will take two for $0

Boy, ya'll really clamoring to pay $800/yr, aren't you?
For the record, I'm not in the BC camp, nor cruise control or lane centering. I never use any self driving features (except to show friends how it works) and never will. I like keeping my cars, computers, phones, apps, etc up to date and that's all.

It's clear lately that some people are slipping in their obligations as part of having access to information before it is released to the general public. Apple and other companies with "public betas" have thoroughly corrupted the meaning of what a beta program is.

It's ultimately Ford's problem to police, but it certainly doesn't help anyone who participates in EA or this board if comments here make Ford consider removing or consolidating the EA program because its purpose is compromised.

I have worked in the software industry before and know firsthand how frustrating it can be when things get posted or discussed and your trust feels violated. So I certainly feel an "oooohhhh... not good" reaction when I see some things that seem inappropriate to be posted here.

Again, Ford's problem ultimately, and if people feel in the clear with what they post here, they have nothing to worry about.

By reading this board you would think the purpose of EA is to give everyone advance notice of how bad the next update is and make fun of the update notes. I wonder what percentage of people complaining actually gave Ford feedback before running to a message forum?

I looked back at pre-6.2.0 photos I took and post-6.2.0 photos and I see absolutely no difference in the top bar. Either I'm just missing a subtle difference or it's a statement leftover from the GUI refresh months earlier.

For those of you who definitely did not receive this update, did your fold mirrors setting get turned off?
I checked and indeed autofold was turned off. Interesting. I also got the motion sensor question again.

This has gotta be fake right becasue those look like actual release notes not recycled ones. If Ford has taught me anything it is that release notes and version numbers don't matter

J/K OP!:) Its cool to see this and I can't wait for it to arrive on my MME!
This is the last time they let the intern write the release notes!!! I'm sure they'll apologize for the convenience.

Has anyone with a 21’ in EA got this yet? I didn’t even get 6.1.0 until yesterday.

It’s super sudtle. Probably just a few pixels. the way I could tell is in CarPlay. The black border is thicker on top than bottom now. (By like 5-10 pixels) so that’s how I noticed it.

I just find it comical that 90% of the people hyped over BC are the same ones swearing they would never pay for it. There's literally 50 pages of temper tantrums.
I still have a year of bluecruise left from the 3 year subscription included at purchase. I would like to have the updated software and features for as much of the remaining time as possible, and I'm sure many others are in the same boat.
