I may be imagining things but is the heat button wider now? Also, I don't remember a charge port unlock button. Then again, I rarely go to the controls screen as the car is always on unbridle mode.

I noticed the charge port unlock button on mine the other day, and I’m only on 6.1.0 (and I think it was there earlier since I just got that OTA yesterday).

There is an EA email address which, to my knowledge, does not furnish responses.
This is exactly correct. On 10/04/23 I sent an email directly to 3 EAP team members (not to the catch all box). One of them was a supervisor. To this day only 1 of them even opened the email. None of them have replied.

The charge port unlock has been on the touchscreen from the beginning. The heat button on the other hand is bigger on 6.2.0.

That's assuming your tracking asset was even loaded. If I was the person you were emailing, you'd never know either way.

I'm not sure if this update, but I got something:

If Ford were to, just hypothetically, create a forum-type environment for EA members to discuss issues among themselves and with Ford, that would both be helpful to Ford and also help keep things a bit more confidential.
Now that’s just crazy talk ?

Maybe Ford should, hypothetically, survey it's members on interest in an EA forum. :)
Next thing, you’ll be proposing that Ford enable the electronic frunk release for Job 1 ?

I'm well aware of how this works. The point is that no one replies, which is what I was validating. It's as if we send emails into the abyss.

That's a pretty cool job for a dog!
My last dog auditioned for a cord cutting job but after she chewed through a plugged in laptop charger cable, she found better things to chew like drywall and chair legs, etc. She was such a smart girl! I miss her.

I never send read receipts.

I've emailed EAP a number of times and have gotten responses. So it may be luck or timing or something.

We don't send things with read receipts, it's security software that tracks them. I have received replies a few times before but many times I don't.

There are also times when they read the living crap out of my emails:

Weird. I've never heard of this capability before, with regards to traditional email (SMTP etc). I think Ford is using Microsoft 365. Is this a feature specific to emails going from one enterprise's MSFT cloud to another MSFT cloud?

Just realized you may be using tracking images, @DevSecOps. I don't allow those to download, either. Forgot about that possibility, though.

Yes, but there's a number of things that people don't realize that you can do to get around pixel blocking. Some of the more sophisticated security software performs these tactics. Things like randomizing the pixel h and w properties, leaving out query parameters, varying url lengths and custom set tracking domains. Gmail, Apple, Yahoo and more pre-load images and block out trackers based on known common attributes. Make them non-parameterized, encrypt the URL and you normally win. Links in emails are also often checked by software when you open the email to ensure it's not a bad actor, those link checks are often recorded as well because we re-write the links to check-in and re-direct.
