Does this mean my HVBJB will be replaced even if it hasn't failed yet? '22 Premium Ext AWD
It's not 100% clear exactly what it means at this point. We'll know more once the final bulletin is released. Seems likely though. Assuming your car was built before the cutoff date.

If it was built BEFORE May 24, 2022, then yes for USA vehicles. The only thing I do not know is if this will also carry over to Canadian vehicles. You would THINK so, but the notice posted here is only for USA vehicles (I see your location is in Canada).

Thanks, guess I'll need to wait for confirmation north of the border then! If so, I'm hoping I can get it replaced before the mad rush for parts and labour

Even USA vehicles can't come in right now for this recall. This is just an advanced notice to dealers to not sell or demonstrate affected vehicles until the recall is completed at a later time (after the recall is officially released with repair procedures and parts available).

They better get their part situation figured out. My car has been sitting at the dealership for over a month now with NO SIGN of the part arriving yet. If this recall goes out, they better have the goddamn parts available.

My experience has been an absolute shit-show (pardon me).

Yeah, do we know how long this typically takes? A week? Month?

I see they added the VINs to the Ford Recall search engine. You can run your VIN through Ford's website HERE
Only one data point, but my SR does not show any open recalls. Just CSP 23B50.

Funny thing is it's reporting that those who ALREADY had the HVBJB replaced as "Recall Incomplete"

Yeah, my old one shows the recall even though it has been replaced recently. I wonder how Ford is going to handle these cases.

Makes sense since SR vehicles are not included in the recall.
Thanks for the snarky reply, but that is still supposition. Considering the recall doesn't even exist yet. Just an advanced notice.

It could possibly be that the software cited in the recall isn't released yet and that's the remaining component of the recall that we don't have. Could also be that they just haven't updated the system yet with those who had the HVBJB replaced already. I don't know I'm just guessing.

I wasn't trying to be snarky. I actually though you were pointing out that since the notice said it only applies to the extended range and GT models you ran your VIN and could confirm it was not showing on the website.
