Cybertruck comes in at $68,890 for all wheel drive. Not bad considering price of other comparable EV’s these days.

Really? The Lightening or Silverado in base trim give much more range, much more power and acceleration, and are much cheaper. So that trim level you are paying for looks. Higher trims you can get the crazy power that others dont offer.

It says it is $79,990 on that site if you click purchase price. They are suggesting "$11,100" in probable savings.

Edit: They are assuming you'll be eligible for the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit and get $3,600 on fuel savings over the course of three years as compared to an ICE vehicle.

They do, are you sure about that? The Lightning doesn’t tow as much or get that range.

Just so everybody knows, the price is NOT $68,890. That is the price after Tesla's bullshit that they always default to (after tax rebate, after gas savings, etc.). You need to click the 'Purchase Price' tab to see the ACTUAL price ($79,990).

Yep, right under the $80,000 threshold for tax incentives.

If other Teslas are a guide, the Cybertruck also doesn't tow as much or get the range of a Cybertruck.

Thanks for the clarification Dave, I’m sure you have saved many forum members from economic disaster as they rush out to buy one!

Given that the Lightning is listed at 320, and the Cybertruck at 340, and given that Teslas routinely fall short of their estimates, I think the Lightning will at least match the range of the Cybertruck. More likely, the Lightning will exceed it.

You cant order a Pro, the XLT is $56k and well over 300 miles of range. Like others have said, that 250 mile range is likely 230 or less using Elon EPA number.

And yes I was originally comparing the RWD base CT vs the Ford or chevy, less range, less power, more money.
