My antlers! (Actually, I love my stripes, my spoiler, my electric pony side emblems, and my rear lit pony - even though I never get to see it)

Wheels and tires are my favorite mod. It's the first thing I do when I get a car. Like all mods, it personalizes the car but in this case it also improves the performance and ride. This wheel/tire setup is the same diameter as OEM but much wider and 12 lbs lighter. Signature Wheels SV706 fully forged in gloss black with polished face. 20"x9" ET33 front, 20"x10.5" ET47 rear. Tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 4 N0 Acoustic. 275/40/20 front, 315/35/20 rear.

Did you have to make any changes to get those wheels on there?

I want any wheel/tire setup that I create to have a flush fit (or very slight poke). That said, in the front I didn't need to do anything except make sure I had the proper wheel offset. 275/40/20's are the widest you can go up front maintaining a flush fit without rubbing the inner fender skirt on full steering lock. In the rear, I really pushed this one as I normally run 285 and 295 40's without any issues but with 315/35's, I had to modify the upper shock mount so the tire sidewall would not rub against it. I could have gone with a different offset to bring the tire out a bit more but that would've been too much poke for my liking. This setup has a very slight 3/16" of poke (tire sidewall comes out just past the fender wheel lip moulding). My other setups (255/45/20 F, 285/40/20 R, - 265/45/20 F, 295/40/20 R - 265/40/20 F, 295/35/20 R and 275/35/21 F&R) are flush.

It also depends on the tire. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 (what I am running) and 4S's have a flat sidewall compared to my Pirelli's which are rounded and protrude more. Had I gone with Pirelli's in this ultra wide setup I would have more poke and more issues on the inner side in the rear. Then there is camber adjustment which effects the amount of poke past the fender wheel lip moulding. Add to all of this my car is slightly lowered so there is a lot of trial and error that goes into getting a wheel/tire setup to fit how you want it to.
