An unfortunate day indeed, but while I love my Mach-E, I will be getting rid of it this week as it just doesn't make sense financially for me to have a car where I live (Washington, DC) and how little I use it (once a week, at best). That said, with this car being connected to so many services these days, for those who have sold theirs: what do I need to do to fully relinquish it from me? The obvious one is that I will be removing it from my Ford account after the sale, but what about things like Connected Services and Plug & Charge? Will those cut off once I remove the car or do a factory reset of the vehicle? Don't want to have those still billed or linked to me in the future or cause any issues for a future owner.

Also, will it reset to the factory door code or should I go and do that for them, too?

Will be removing my car from Electrify America, EVgo, Chargepoint, etc. so that there's no issue there, too, but wanted to cover my bases.

Thanks for any advice you can give. At least I can stop waiting for the frunk button to one day finally appear in FordPass, good luck to the next owner. ?

Just do a Sync screen reset.
It will wipe out all the info you have put in reset to factory condition.
Plus removing the vehicle from your account app will also cut all services off.

I gave my Ford door lock code (never changed/programmed), to the sales manager and was done.

Also handed them the pending recall notices from Ford to them (redacted my info).

Also remove any saved trips in the nav. Somehow I have my previous owners house and parents house stuck in my Nav. It might have been trips pushed from FP to the car.

And do not forget to erase the Homelink garage door settings as a master reset does not clear Homelink.
