for Mach-e Premium 2023, 10K amounted to tire rotation, a few checks. Done in less than 2 hours, cost $25; free with some 5k FordPass points.

I just scheduled mine 10K and do not know what to expect. Do you have to pay?
This is my first ford. I had bmw and audi before and they used to give you loaner or pay for Uber for drop off or pickup. With ford there is no such thing?

Yes, you pay. How much depends on the dealer. Mine was $14.99.

Transport also depends on the dealer. When I drop the car off, they give me a ride home if I don’t want to wait.

Call and ask.

Not worth my time to take in. I checked my own coolant and brake fluid levels when I had the frunk cover off for another reason at 7k, and visually check suspension and brakes when rotating tires. I don’t believe there’s anything else significant.

My dealer said it’s only a tire rotation and that they don’t do any checks. I asked if they could do the checks as per the maintenance schedule. He agreed. They ended up doing nothing and they charged nothing. I had the car in for the junction box recall. Was disappointed tbh.

Another reason dealerships hate EVs. Was $110 for an oil change and tire rotation when I last took my Escape in. Only had to do it once a year, too since I didn't drive enough to require an oil change before then.

My former Cadillac has a concierge service of pick up drop off car with loaner even for an oil change. I did have to have a software update and Ford picked up the car and brought it back. Nice folks so far

I get emails about once a month from Ford offering the oil change, tire rotation, battery test, brake inspection, etc. for $49. I just had it done Tuesday on my Explorer.

I called a local dealer in the Akron area to get the cost of the 10K service on my 2022 CR1. I was told that it's just the cost of the tire rotation, 19.95. I scheduled an appointment, and when I arrived at the service desk, that price went up to 49.95. Since I was already there, we settled on a price halfway between the two. I used FordPass points to pay for it. They completed the service without any further issues, but I won't be returning there due to the bait-and-switch on the pricing.

It was my first time at this particular Ford dealer. With other dealers, I usually get a follow-up email to review the service. Seems kind of odd that I never received a service review from this dealer. I would have definitely mentioned the pricing discrepancy on the review.

Just did this last Thursday on our MachE for 10k maintenance. Tire rotation and inspection, $20, paid with FordPass points.

As others mentioned, it's an aspect that dealerships likely hate, but it also took about 20 minutes compared to 40-60 it takes with my F-150 at the same place. If they adjust their scheduling to get more vehicles in per day (EVs) then they aren't dealing with the costs of purchasing, stocking, and disposing of oil and oil filters and just burning through rotations and inspections.

Only thing odd in our inspection was the driver side front tire had less tread depth than the other three tires, by a decent amount. This may end up being the first vehicle we buy tires for during the warranty period if this wear continues since it's only been a year.

I just go my 10K service from the local Ford dealer last Friday. It cost less than $25 and they sent me a video of the inspection too which was basically checking the lights, etc.

I even got a ride home from Lyft because I was unable to wait.

Yeah. Probably not their favorite customer but I don't care. I was pleasantly surprised by how cheap it was. Let's face it, I will never have a service bill that low for the rest of my life. Hoping this continues and maybe I won't feel like I was so screwed from the initial dealership sales shenanigans.

I went a ways to go to the dealer I bought from to see if sales was like service. They gave me the first official service for free. They had a shuttle for local customers, but I just hung out.

I was wondering about this. I was just looking at the manual yesterday and it seems like I can do the tire rotation at home and check the fluids. I've always done oil changes on my vehicles at home. Is it really necessary for me to take it in to the dealership? And would this affect warranty in any way.
